Even for the Irish Spring Festival 2025, we have managed to put together a good program mix, as the aim of this festival is to show the local audience both what is happening in the innovative Irish music scene and to give different styles space.

The renowned Northern Irish singer/songwriter duo Fil Campbell & Tom McFarland will kick off the 2025 event. Their songs sometimes offer a somewhat "quirky" view of life and often invite the audience to sing along. They bring contemporary and traditional songs with them and skillfully interact with their audience.

4 Man Job is based in Glasgow and delivers "straightforward" traditional Celtic music. Ciaran Ryan (tenor banjo), Dylan Cairns-Hawarth (fiddle), Luc McNally (bouzouki, vocals), and Craig Baxter (bodhrán) are responsible for the musical experience. Despite their youth, they have extensive international stage experience and, it can be promised, they do a brilliant job.

After so many men on stage, it is time for female musicians to showcase their talent to the audience. And with Cuas, we were able to bring a band that impressively demonstrates this talent on stage. Méabh Ní Bheaglaoich (accordion, vocals), Nicole Ní Dhubhshláine (concertina, flute), Niamh Varian-Barry (violin, viola, vocals), and Kyle Macaulay (guitar, bouzouki), the only man in the band, mainly dedicate themselves to the diverse music tradition of West Kerry. Rousing polkas and slides, thoughtful new compositions, and traditional songs take center stage when these four virtuosos, who are among the most promising on the "Emerald Isle" (all of them already have a remarkable musical background), stand together on stage.

We are also proud to have secured the excellent Lenka Fairy as a dancer. Lenka is from the Czech Republic but has been living in Ireland for years. After her initial introduction to Irish step dance, Lenka quickly developed a love for this unique dance style and a keen interest in Irish culture. She began learning Irish dance and soon participated in international competitions. She eventually won the European Championships in Irish dance. Lenka also competed six times in the World Irish Dance Championships and won trophies in numerous competitions in Ireland and other European countries.

MASTERS OF REALITY

The mastermind of the band, guitarist, singer, songwriter Chris Goss is primarily known as a producer for Kyuss, Queens Of The Stone Age, Soulwax, Mondo Generator, UNKLE, Stone Temple Pilots, and the “Desert Sessions” - a stoner rock cult album. Just last year, Goss produced the self-titled album “John Garcia & The Band Of Gold” for former Kyuss singer John Garcia. His own band Masters Of Reality is a mystery.
As one of the founders of desert/stoner rock and with a band name that references a Black Sabbath album, they have released 6 studio albums since 1988 but have remained somewhat under the radar.

With the album “Deep In The Hole,” they gained attention with their mix of bluesy stoner rock and great guitar riffs and solos. During the subsequent European tour, Chris Goss and drummer John Leamy were joined by Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age) and Nick Oliveri (Mondo Generator). Mark Lanegan (Screaming Trees/Queens of the Stone Age) and Dave Catching (Eagles of Death Metal) were also once part of Masters of Reality, and as a cherry on top, the legendary Cream drummer Ginger Baker recorded an album with the band.

Fans of Kyuss and Queens Of The Stone Age who are curious about the origins of the (desert) rock sound know where to go on April 15.

One day, Count Ulverstone enters the workshop of the talented violin maker Amati. He should build him an unusual violin - an enchanted one - so that the count can impress the ladies as a virtuoso violinist. Thus, Amati ultimately asks a forest witch and a powerful demon for help to fulfill the count's wish.
But the plan goes awry, and now the violin maker must fear for his beloved daughter.
