After more than 20 years of concert activity with an unchanged lineup, one can today consider the Trio Lézard as one of the leading trio d’anches (French "reed trio") in the world. When Stéphane Egeling, Jan Creutz, and Stefan Hoffmann formed a trio in the early 90s at the Saarbrücken Hochschule für Musik, it was initially driven by the sheer joy of making music together, a spirit of experimentation, and not least, friendship.
