Hubertus Meyer-Burckhardt, born in 1956 in Kassel, stepped onto the stage of the local city theater at the age of 15. Since then, he knew he wanted to do "something with entertainment" and attended the University of Television and Film. As a TV producer, he has won numerous awards, spent years on the board of Axel Springer AG as well as at ProSieben-Sat. 1 and held a professorship at the Hamburg Media School. He is also known to a million viewers as the host of over 1,000 episodes of the "NDR Talk Show." Most recently, his SPIEGEL bestseller "Die ganze Scheiße mit der Zeit: Meine Entdeckung des Jetzt" (2021) was published. Meyer-Burckhardt lives in Hamburg.
