Anda Morts - I hate this part of Texas - Tour 2026
ANDA MORTS
I hate this part of Texas - Tour
Direct, raw, and uncompromisingly honest – that’s how Anda Morts presents itself live.
What the parade punk from Linz, Austria brings to the stage together with his comrades Emil Stöllinger (guitar, vocals) and Florian “Koi” Koll (drums) is not soft NDW or smooth German punk, but a highly energetic experience: a power trio, always ready to break down, that can captivate its audience from the first to the last second.
With a knack for storytelling, Anda Morts' lyrics hit right to the heart – somewhere between anger, melancholy, and hope. Authentic, approachable, and always with full force moving forward. Thematically, it’s about self-location, longing, identity, and the eternal question: What is all this actually about, and where do I belong? Anda Morts observes closely, deconstructs scenes, relationships, society, and politics with few, precise lines. And creates something rare: telling from the small to the large, without pathos, but with palpable tenderness for his characters. It’s no coincidence that Anda Morts’ debut album “Ans” from September 2025 was celebrated by critics.
After the completely sold-out “Zweimal ist einmal” tour in April, numerous summery outdoor outings to major festivals like Hurricane, Southside, or Ruhrpott Rodeo are now following, before the band returns to clubs in autumn with their second studio album planned for November (produced by Sven Regener) – ready for the next level of escalation.
On the “I hate this part of Texas” tour 2026, Anda Morts will once again plow through Germany and for the first time also through the Netherlands and the Czech Republic. Distorted chords, gnarly bass, driving drums, grumpy vocals – uncompromising punk. At the same time, influences from NDW, post-punk, and even singer/songwriter moments shine through. In this urgency, in this mix, it all sounds very fresh. From mid-September, live at no less than 18 tour stops.
Doors open at 7 PM, standing room.
