Horror-Death-Metal with scene legends: Season of The Dead come with JOHN MCENTEE from INCANTATION as lead singer – and additionally play a special set with music from NECROPHAGIA.
With Season of The Dead, you can expect a macabre trip into the world of old-school death metal, splatter horror, and dark VHS nightmares. The project combines brutal death metal power with the atmosphere of classic horror and zombie films – raw, dark, cinematic, and relentless.
A special highlight for death metal fans: John McEntee, founding member and voice of INCANTATION, will take over the lead vocals live with Season of The Dead. INCANTATION are among the defining names of the US death metal underground – thus, one can look forward to a massive, authentic, and extremely dark performance.
In addition, there is another special program point: Season of The Dead will play a special set with music from NECROPHAGIA, possibly accompanied by visuals. For fans of horror death metal, splatter aesthetics, and the dark NECROPHAGIA school, this is a true scene special.
The live lineup also includes Giacomo Anselmi from Goblin Legacy and Titta Tani, known from Goblin, Necrophagia, Vinnie Moore, David Ellefson, Rowan Robertson, and many other projects. The live lineup is completed by a session bassist.
The debut “Zombie Chronicles Vol. 1” sounds like a lost splatter film on VHS: inspired by cult horror, the undead, decay, and blood-soaked atmosphere. Musically, the whole thing is aimed at fans of Necrophagia, Incantation, Mortician, Fulci, old-school death metal, and classic horror cinema.
