Rheingau Wine Festival Eltville 2026 kicks off the Pentecost weekend with “Local Heroes”
From May 22 to 25, 2026, the Rheingau Wine Festival Eltville transforms the region into a meeting place for wine lovers, music fans, and connoisseurs. Four days, 40 artists, selected winemakers, and several atmospheric floors create a unique festival experience throughout the grounds of the Hirt - Gebhardt winery in Eltville. The opening event takes place on Friday, May 22, 2026, with
the Opening Event “Local Heroes” – a stage for regional artists and musical diversity.

With “Local Heroes,” the festival consciously sets a sign for the strong music scene of the region. On several floors – from the sun terrace to the pressing hall to the main floor – artists from Rheingau and the Rhine-Main area present themselves and ensure a varied start to the Pentecost weekend.
Among those participating are Pasi der Pogo & Friends, Laura Müller, Kapp & Chino, Open Mic, Danial Soave, Ben Nook, Peter Latino, and the Rheingau Allstars. Visitors can expect a diverse program ranging from relaxed beats to danceable sounds, which places the festival spirit of community, regionality, and joy of life at the center.
In addition to the music, guests can enjoy selected wines from regional winemakers at fair prices, as well as culinary specialties – from hearty Rheingau classics to sweet treats. “Local Heroes” thus combines musical quality with regional enjoyment in an atmospheric environment.

Preview of the Pentecost weekend
After the regional opening on Friday, further highlights follow: On Saturday, an energetic live program featuring the legendary Urban Club Band and the BRASSers creates festival vibes, before the legendary White Party on Sunday delights with a stylish dress code and special live elements. The grand finale takes place on Pentecost Monday with an electronic closing that wraps up the weekend with pulsating beats.
With “Local Heroes,” the Rheingau Wine Festival Eltville 2026 begins consciously approachable and regional – and simultaneously opens the door to four days full of music, wine, and summer feeling in the heart of Rheingau.
