Captivating rhythms - orchestral sound - high-energy show. That's what the audience can expect from Cobario's new program "Strings on Fire!".
It's not uncommon to search for the orchestra - it is actually just the three musicians: Herwig Schaffner (violin), Dino Sulic (guitar) and Georg Aichberger (guitar), who bring the stage to life and ignite a musical fireworks display of the highest caliber.
The guitar strings glow, the violinist enchants with breathtaking virtuosity on the violin: With the energy of their compositions, the Viennese trio has been captivating audiences worldwide for years!
The new, virtuosic show is a musical dance with fire. In the composition "Avanti," the two guitarists duel with driving riffs and Spanish solos. In the title song "Strings On Fire," the ultimate showdown ensues - the stage trembles, the audience roars.
"Strings on Fire!" offers an extraordinary concert experience.

About Cobario:
The multiple award-winning trio started in 2006 in Barcelona as street musicians. Soon, Cobario was invited to festivals and then to concert halls across Europe, North America, and Asia. By now, the Viennese musicians have performed in over 30 countries, captivating audiences from New York to Hong Kong.
Often, just a few notes in the unusual combination of violin and two guitars are enough to trigger a true explosion of images in the mind.
The irresistible charm and infectious joy of playing that the three passionate musicians of Cobario bring to the stage make every concert a delight.
Herwig Schaffner began learning violin and piano at the age of eight and was accepted into the Salzburg Mozarteum at just 16. He has played, among others, in the "European Youth Orchestra" and under conductors such as Yehudi Menuhin and Sandor Vegh. Extensive orchestra tours have taken him across Europe and Asia.
Georg Aichberger began playing guitar at the age of 14. His teenage years were characterized by self-taught learning as well as a variety of band projects. He subsequently studied guitar at the University of Music in Vienna and at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music. His musical career has taken him to various countries such as Spain, France, England, Hungary, and Croatia.
Dino Sulic discovered the guitar at the age of 9. With the support of his guitar teacher Florian Hein and through self-taught study of the electric guitar, he delved deeper into the world of music.
After experiences in various bands and the long-term ensemble project "Odeon," he began his studies at the University of Music in Vienna in 2017. There, he studied classical guitar with Gonzalo Manrique-Vallier, as well as pop and jazz guitar with Joe Doblhofer and Martin Kelner. His love for the stylistic diversity of the guitar allowed Dino Sulic to gain experiences in the fields of classical, pop, and metal, subsequently performing concerts across Europe.
Since October 2025, he has been complementing Cobario's trio formation on the steel-string guitar.
