The MISS PIGGY KIKI BALL celebrates the art of taking up space. Organized by Cary 007, Escobar Fenty Savage, and the SERVE. Ballroom Community Stuttgart, this Kiki Ball brings together fashion, performance, and chosen family, understanding Ballroom as a cultural practice, a form of creative expression, and a vibrant community.
Ballroom originated in the Black and Latinx LGBTQ+ communities of New York as a space where people can find family, celebrate individuality, and turn fashion, movement, and performance into powerful forms of self-expression. In various categories, competition, creativity, and storytelling come together to create a culture that is still defined by community, empowerment, and artistic innovation today.
This edition focuses on one of the most iconic divas of pop culture: Miss Piggy. Long before the internet rediscovered her as a fashion icon, she embodied the very qualities that define Ballroom – uncompromising self-confidence, theatricality, glamour, humor, and a firm belief that one deserves their place in the spotlight. Her current renaissance in fashion and pop culture makes her a surprisingly contemporary figure of inspiration.
