That Germany's most successful music producer Nosie Katzmann, and the pianist, singer, and composer Daniel Helfrich, are coming together for a complete concert evening and celebrating their premiere at the thalhaus Theater is surprising and has an unusual backstory:
The Artistic Director of thalhaus saw the two of them performing unplugged on a stage in Lorsch sometime ago. Between songs like "Mr. Vain," "Right in the Night," and "More and More," Nosie told stories about the melodies, all accompanied by Daniel Helfrich's indescribable musicality on the piano. After the show, the Artistic Director asked them if they would like to turn this short performance into a full evening program and premiere it in Wiesbaden. The passionate musicians didn't have to think long and said, "Yes, we want to." Now, thalhaus visitors can enjoy a concert like never before, and hopefully, it will be performed many times after the premiere in Wiesbaden.
Music producer Nosie Katzman rose to fame in the 1990s with several well-known Eurodance projects like Culture Beat, Jam and Spoon, or Captain Hollywood, for which he wrote hits like "Mr. Vain" or "More and More." He also produced the major hit "Erdbeermund" with Culture Beat and Jo van Nelsen. With over 40 international chart-toppers, millions of CDs sold worldwide, dozens of gold and platinum awards, the career of hit composer Nosie Katzmann is nothing short of extraordinary!
Daniel Helfrich is a pianist, singer, cabaret artist, composer, moderator, and band leader. For over 30 years, he has been at home as a musician and entertainer on the best stages. He describes his art of entertainment as socially, media, and consumer critical, presented in a quirky manner. With his five previous cabaret solo programs, he was nominated for various cabaret awards.
