Info about the coffee gathering:
“Oma, chatGPT is boring…” How about turning off the PC and experiencing a few very special hours at the thalhaus Theater on a cozy Sunday afternoon during coffee and cake time?
Alice Hoffmann, known as the “first” Hilde from the comedy series “Familie Heinz Becker,” presents a program that at first glance seems like an intimate reading in the family’s fireplace room. However, this time the audience can expect far more than just light entertainment. In addition to humorous moments, there will also be space for profound and serious topics that encourage reflection and exchange. As visitors can bring their favorite reading, ideas, or questions of all kinds, a lively performance is created together with Alice Hoffmann, which is different every time.
Experience Alice Hoffmann, the “apron of the nation,” in a program that moves between reading, cabaret, conversations, and music, constantly reinventing itself. Critical and reflective themes on past and current events will also not be overlooked. No performance is like the other – it is a vibrant mosaic of humor, thoughtfulness, and personal exchange.
The “icing on the cake” of this event? Of course, the coffee and cake served by the friendly thalhaus team upon request. After the official part, Alice Hoffmann is available for conversations and profound moments with the guests.
Info about the SOLO program:
Alice Hoffmann embodies the Saarland housewife “Vanessa Backes,” who is still fondly remembered as the “first” Hilde from the well-known comedy series “Familie Heinz Becker.” As Hilde, she makes millions of viewers laugh in front of their televisions.
In her solo program Torschlusspanik, her life as a housewife has reached the point where she wonders if she has really done everything she wanted to do. Senior driver's license, Ayurveda retreats, finally falling in love again, learning a new language, or singing in a newcomer competition, there’s hardly anything she hasn't always wanted to try.
But in the end, it turns out as it must. Time and again, it becomes clear that life does not always go the way it should.
With a special touch of cabaret wit, the apron wearer engages the audience’s laughter muscles. When she encourages her audience to comment and interject, she never fails to provide an answer.
This performance is unfortunately sold out! also plays on Thursday, 06.11.2025
