On this evening, we accompany Heine on his journey to Paris, the Mecca of

liberality at the beginning of the 19th century. These are the years following the July

Revolution, and Heine actively participates in political life. In Paris, he marries

Mathilde. But Germany and the German question do not leave him. So, in

November 1844, he embarks on his famous journey through Germany, which he immortalizes

in his work "Germany. A Winter's Tale".
