The Skulpturenpark Waldfrieden in Wuppertal is a unique exhibition center for modern and contemporary sculptures. Founded by the renowned British sculptor Tony Cragg, the park spans over 14 hectares of idyllic forest area between the districts of Elberfeld and Barmen.
The harmonious connection of art and nature makes the Skulpturenpark an inspiring place for events. Three modern exhibition halls offer flexible spaces for exhibitions, conferences, and cultural events. The unique topography of the site allows sculptures to be presented amidst changing landscape conditions, creating a unique atmosphere for visitors.
The location of the park offers good access to public transport; the suspension railway station Landgericht is about a 10-minute walk away. Several parking spaces are available for drivers, although depending on the day and time, all three parking lots may be full. Alternatively, bus number 628 can be used with the Bendahler Straße stop, which also requires about a 10-minute walk.
The Café Podest in the former gardener's house invites visitors to linger after the tour and offers space for larger visitor groups. Both the Skulpturenpark and the café are open year-round, although only on weekends during the winter months. Regular guided tours are offered on Saturdays or by appointment.
