Bernd Stelter - Don't Get Upset. Just Causes Wrinkles!

What don't we get upset about? About the parking ticket on the windshield, the slow cashier at the supermarket checkout, the federal government, and the weather. When we get mad, when we are angry, the glabellar crease between our eyebrows digs deep into our skin. That's why it's called that: a frown line. And then everyone can see it.

When we laugh, our skin improves. With a smile on our face, we become more attractive to our fellow human beings. The opposite sex is drawn to us. And laughter is healthy. The lungs are trained, the brain gets an oxygen shower.

"Don't get upset. Just causes wrinkles!" is BERND STELTER's new program. There is a lot to laugh about. In two hours, wrinkles will be smoothed, skin quality improved, and the corners of the mouth pulled upward. It is like a two-hour beauty treatment without Botox and annoying plastic surgeons.

Argentinian fire with star accordionist Ksenija Sidorova! The passionate musician from Riga has made her way into the top ranks with her spirited style, and her concerts are regularly sold out. The Philharmonia Frankfurt is garnering attention as one of the most interesting orchestra formations of recent years. As international as the musicians of the ensemble are, so globally expansive are the concerts. Under the artistic direction of chief conductor Juri Gilbo, the ensemble delights with much energy and imagination. To conclude the season, there will be exhilarating music from the South American tango master Astor Piazzolla: Argentine flair in the “Seasons of Buenos Aires” and the melancholic Oblivion for accordion and orchestra.

The sing-along spectacle is back: "WDR 4 sing(t) mit Guildo" - the brand new tour for 2024!
In collaboration with the charismatic music legend Guildo Horn, this tour will take the audience on an exhilarating journey through the 80s and the greatest classics.

For the WDR 4 listeners, Guildo Horn will take on the role of choir director. The greatest WDR 4 favorite hits from the 80s as well as unforgettable classics are in the master's songbook and await to be sung together with the audience: from Cat Stevens to Abba, the Beatles, Queen, and Frank Sinatra. The master of ceremonies and his combo "Die Orthopädischen Strümpfe" have many wonderful titles in store, which they want to sing together with the WDR 4 listeners.

"Especially in such an eggy time, it is enormously important to recharge the batteries from time to time. Singing is healthy and singing brings joy," says Guildo Horn. “I am burning to sing hits & classics voice to voice with you. And I promise on my mother's treats to be a strict, competent but above all patient and warm-hearted choir director!”
