New Year's Eve different? Then you're exactly right on December 31, 2026, at 5:30 PM at the Kulturhaus Torgau! With „Niemals in New York“ – music comedy, we as a Kulturhaus team are taking a new path and bringing you a New Year's Eve show full of humor, live singing, and entertainment on stage for the first time. No stiff gala, no standard program – but comedy, music, and really good vibes to wrap up the year.
In this fast-paced musical comedy, the glamorous Miss Daisy and her slightly chaotic chauffeur Sir Malheur find themselves in the middle of disaster on their way to the evening gala: crash, chaos, and heavy tension in the car. While they wait for roadside assistance, the punchlines fly through the air – between coffee gossip, family chatter, and a wonderfully quirky blind date. Witty, charming, and with plenty of pace, the duo delivers a show that's simply enjoyable.
Musically, you'll be treated to a real hit firework: from “New York, New York” by Frank Sinatra to “Memories” from Cats, “For me, red roses should rain” by Hildegard Knef, “Always Look on the Bright Side of Life” by Monty Python, and “Greek Wine” by Udo Jürgens – there’s something for every generation. Live, with power and lots of feeling.
On stage are Nadine Hammer as Miss Daisy and Adrian Laza as Sir Malheur. Text and direction come from Roy Reinker. Two hours of entertainment with drive, humor, and an earworm guarantee.
