With "The Great Commandment," "Love Is a Shield," and "That Smiling Face," they made music history – now they are coming live to the SHELTER Festival 2026: CAMOUFLAGE, the German synth godfathers, are headlining the big festival Friday on July 17, 2026, in Eggebek!

Hardly any other German band symbolizes the electronic sound of the 80s/90s as much as they do. Their mix of melodic wave, driving beats, and melancholic vocals made them internationally successful – and their songs are still unforgettable today. When CAMOUFLAGE takes the stage, nostalgia meets energy, electronics meet emotion – a goosebump moment for all who experienced and loved that time.

From July 16 to 18, 2026, the SHELTER Festival returns to the former military airfield in Eggebek – a place that connects history and the present like hardly any other in the north. Where the Marinefliegergeschwader 2 (MFG 2) was stationed for decades and shaped the region, today music lovers, friends, and companions come together to celebrate a unique reunion. Between impressive jet hangars, which were previously reserved for military purposes, a special festival atmosphere is created that there is no second of in Germany. The venue itself is breathtaking – the perfect backdrop for a festival that connects music, memory, and community.

The SHELTER Festival is the rockiest reunion in the north. It is aimed at everyone who consciously experienced the 80s/90s and wants to relive that feeling of life once more. Not a purely nostalgic show, but a journey through time that shows how alive the music of that era still is today. Wave and synth, rock and pop, NDW, Eurodance, and punk – the diversity of this era is reflected in the program.

Thursday, July 16, 2026 – Warm-Up in the DJ Hangar

The festival kickoff is completely in the spirit of Italo feeling and great melodies. Under the motto "Italo Pop & Rock," SHELTER 2026 starts with two hours full of summer longing, Italian hits, and Dolce Vita vibes. DJ Peter BURNS, a true scene legend, will lift the jet shelter in the Shelter Hangar between Italo Pop, Electro, Pop, and Rock of the 80s/90s. A musical high-flying start to the festival.
We are looking forward to the live act Albano & Romina Power Double – it doesn't get any more real than this! They will revive the great Italo magic of the 80s/90s, from “Felicità” to “Sempre Sempre” – pure joy of life on stage.

And because it was just too cool in 2025, they’re back: DIE ANDERSONS! With their SHELTER Special program, they bring back the complete 80s/90s feeling – with humor, style, and musical class. Rumor has it they’ll even include a Spanish title in their set this time.

Friday, July 17, 2026 – CAMOUFLAGE live!

Friday in 2026 is entirely dedicated to a band that has made music history: CAMOUFLAGE – the German synth godfathers! The traditional startup movie will already start at noon – and this year it will be pure northern German culture: “Werner – Beinhart!” will be shown on a large LED wall in the middle of the Shelter Hangar.

A. Ticket prices

The ticket prices remain stable, despite the slightly decreased number of spectators last year, which makes it challenging for us. You pay …

We would also like to announce price reductions here and switch to a model of social, standard, and solidarity tickets. What we can risk and implement depends directly on the development of visitor numbers in the next year.

The social ticket (for students, citizens on benefits, etc.) will be simplified this year and is set at (hopefully affordable) 170,- euros

B. Camping prices

Next year, there will only be one price per vehicle, which will help us finance the costs for the venue and the fees to the city of Bad Doberan. You can choose between two periods at the Suncamp or for the Greencamp. The fees for the Greencamp are higher because we have much larger costs related to fees, nature conservation agencies, and setup, and we provide electricity.

A. Suncamp

Those who only want to arrive and camp for the three festival days pay 80,- (Early Bird), 90,- (regular) or 100,- euros (box office).

Those who want to arrive and camp the week before from Tuesday to Thursday pay 120,- (Early Bird), 135,- (regular) or 150,- euros (box office)

B. Greencamp

Those who want to camp at the Greencamp pay 170,- (Early Bird), 185,- (regular) or 210,- euros (box office).
It is the same at the Sun and Greencamp regardless of how many people arrive in a vehicle! Two-wheeled vehicles are free! Day visitors are free

Authentic, passionate, and with a wink of humor, Panik Avenue transports the feeling of life of the panic family. DAILY J - "Wabi Sabi Tour"

Daily J, born and raised in the idyllic Marlborough, New Zealand, has developed his own unique sound.

The band offers dreamy blends of soft, floating melodies, warm basslines, and a touch of pop electronica that put one in ecstasy – the perfect soundtrack for a well-deserved break.

... The band, consisting of brothers Jayden, Jonny, and Jesse Paul, along with their musical soulmate Rick, has enjoyed a rapidly growing local and international fanbase since their debut in late 2017.

Their debut EP "The Other Side" was quickly followed by crowd favorites like "Left Me Like Summer" and "Skylah," both of which appeared on their debut album "Venus Ate Mars" in November 2020. The band continued to explore new sonic realms with the emotional two-part album "Slush Honey," released in 2022 and 2023.

After two sold-out tours in Australia and over 48 million streams in 2023, the band experienced an even more successful year in 2024. They reached new heights with a sold-out first UK tour and completed their third studio album "Scatterbrains" upon returning to New Zealand. The album marked a turning point – it delved into darker, more introspective territories, addressed unresolved questions, and tackled the storms of life. Singles like "Tastes Like Forever" and "Sunday Stitches" stormed the New Zealand charts and touched fans with their emotional honesty and layered sound.

By the end of 2025, Daily J moved to Sydney and released a deluxe edition of "Scatterbrains." They conquered U.S. college radio stations, with both the singles and the EP reaching the NACC charts. After a visit home in December to enjoy family, festivals, and the familiar New Zealand summer heat, the band went into the studio to create their next work, set to be released throughout 2026 and including some of their most poignant and confident songs to date.

Amidst all the chaos of life, their music offers something rare: a sense of calm, empathy, and refuge. Whether sunshine or rain, Daily J reminds us that we are never truly alone.

The starting shot for greater recognition of AB Syndrom was the song Flaggschiff in 2017, with which the band achieved their first radio airplay and now more than 2.5 million streams on Spotify. The Berlin musicians have been completely DIY from the beginning and polarize. This means that the entire music production, from artwork to music videos, is consistently produced independently and released on their self-established indie label. And this consistency is audible and palpable. Unusual electronic sounds and intricate beats form the basis for the poetry woven within. Bennet's extremely personal and autobiographical lyrics offer deep insights into the soul. Through striking vocal distortion and lyrical abstraction, the songs provide space for personal references despite all subjectivity. The focus on the personal also shapes AB Syndrom's live shows. On stage, only Anton's drum set, equipped with pads, and a keyboard are present, with which the duo adapts the electronic sound of the album for the stage. Everything is created in the moment: No backing tracks, no lifeless show to pre-recorded tape. Since Flaggschiff, an intense time has been behind the band: in 2019, they toured Germany, Switzerland, and Austria with Mine, shortly thereafter concerts in Vietnam, Hong Kong, and Manila. In 2020, the Frontalcrash album was released during the Corona lockdown, followed by streaming concerts, among others, at DLF Nova and c/o pop from a huge former heating plant. Then in 2022, post-Corona restart: with the album Tut mir gut Tut mir Leid, they generated radio airplay nationwide and went on their first headliner tour through 7 cities in winter 2022-23 — including a live concert at radioeins. In 2024/25, AB Syndrom achieved nationwide rotations with the album Implosion and features with Trille, Roger Reckless, Futurebae, and Mine, and played at the Fusion Festival in front of 2500 people, at the RadioEins Parkfest, and on their subsequent Germany tour through 9 cities. AB Syndrom have established themselves as a blend of experimental electronic sounds and ultra-personal German lyrics. In autumn 2026, they will go on tour with their new album, stopping in Hamburg on October 18 at Bahnhof Pauli.
