Stephan Zinner - Prachtexemplar - zwischen Bühne, Baumarkt und Familientisch
„PRACHTEXEMPLAR“
between stage, hardware store and family table
a cabaret reading with music
As an actor, cabaret artist, and musician, Stephan Zinner knows: The toughest audience waits at home – his own family. Nevertheless, he gladly faces the challenges as a cook of trendy soul food, traffic controller, Christmas tree chief buyer, handyman, and son-in-law. Although he doesn’t always receive applause, the risk of injury is high and the payment is low, but a smile is worth so much more. That way, one can even tolerate the world outside, full of blinkered individuals on their hasty path to self-optimization.
And he poses the big questions of humanity: Is a sausage salad a bowl? What does the family calendar have to do with the space-time continuum? Are treadmills deadly hell machines? And why does a slice of orange float in wheat beer? With much subtle humor, Stephan Zinner answers these and many other questions in his new book in a brilliantly comedic manner.
He is musically supported by Maxi Pongratz on accordion and Matthias Meichelböck on flugelhorn. With their band "Koflgschroa," the two full-blooded musicians from Oberammergau are well-known to the audience even beyond the Spotify universe.
Stephan Zinner, born in 1974, is an actor, author, musician, and cabaret artist. He has performed on the stages of the Landestheater Salzburg and the Kammerspiele in Munich, as well as for an unforgettable fifteen years in the musical at Nockherberg as Markus Söder. Since 2016, he has been part of the cast of the nationally successful Eberhofer crime series based on the novels of Rita Falk; furthermore, he can be seen in Munich's Polizeiruf 110 as well as in the lead role in the BR six-part series "Himmel Herrgott Sakrament."
