Jekyll & Hyde - Jekyll & Hyde PREMIERE
Dr. Henry Jekyll has an ambitious plan: he wants to separate the good and the evil in humans, in order to banish evil once and for all. However, he does not receive permission for his scientific experiment and thus has no test subjects; as a result, he makes himself the test subject.
And the experiment is even successful! But what he did not anticipate: the malevolent side of his personality, which manifests as Mister Edward Hyde, becomes uncontrollable and repeatedly takes over. Mister Hyde becomes increasingly malevolent, instilling fear and terror in London with one murder after another – including Dr. Jekyll, who, when he finds himself in his original form, fights a constant, bitter struggle against himself.
But it's not just drama; the musical JEKYLL & HYDE also offers love, romance, and fun! For the attractive Dr. Jekyll is engaged to the enchanting Lisa. At his bachelor party, he also meets the prostitute Lucy, who fascinates him – an encounter that will not remain without consequences for both.
Will it be possible in the end to stop the personified evil?
Look forward to a grand, moving, and multi-faceted musical in classic style, sometimes rocking, sometimes romantic, but always captivating.
With over 1,500 performances on Broadway, many awards, and successful productions in German-speaking regions, JEKYLL & HYDE is one of the most successful musicals of the present.
