After the great success of the cult comedy “Servus Peter – A Tribute to Peter Alexander” with over 260,000 visitors, a new highlight follows:

On the occasion of Peter Alexander's 100th birthday in 2026, there will be a live concert version – with a band, choir, and a Heinz-Erhardt performer (for sketches) – all in the style of the legendary Peter Alexander shows. The native Austrian and Peter Alexander performer Peter Grimberg sings the songs of the unforgettable entertainer from Vienna like no other. The great actress Waltraut Haas from Vienna says about Peter: “You are a beacon.” – not an imitator and not a parodist. In the birthday show “Servus Peter – Wir gratulieren – 100 Jahre”, Peter Grimberg presents the greatest hits of Peter Alexander in chronological order.

Personal birthday greetings from his former musician colleagues and friends – via recorded WhatsApp videos – will also be included. For example, from:

But now he opens his book Living Elvis – My Life for the King and takes his audience on a very personal journey: humorous, direct, and surprisingly close.

In Songs & Stories, reading meets concert. In musical blocks, well-known classics as well as rarely played pieces by Elvis Presley resound – newly arranged and interpreted with a selected band. In between, Strassburg reads passages from his book, talks about first encounters with the King, doubts, family, and all the moments when life suddenly is so much more than show.

A special part of the evening is also an open dialogue: Meike Buschening-Kaffenberger, known to many from the VOX show Zwischen Tüll und Tränen, engages in conversation with Nils Strassburg, and together they create a space for honest, spontaneous exchange – between music and stories, between stage and audience.

This reading is not a rigid format but an invitation to an evening that is more than just an event: There will be singing, talking, and laughing – and sometimes even the greatest legends suddenly stand in the spotlight of their own memories.

MAFFAYpur is the most successful tribute to Peter Maffay and consists of live musicians from Germany's most famous pop/rock and schlager stars. The band is known as a finalist of the SAT.1 show "The Tribute".

MAFFAYpur has created an entertaining program that consists of short read anecdotes, brief performed pieces, and of course, plenty of music. It tells the story of the career of an tirelessly working artist – with lots of heart and just as many hits. Here, you learn why the spoken part of "Du" sounds accent-free, how the Tabaluga idea came about, what inspired the song "Steppenwolf," and how exactly it all went down with "Über sieben Brücken."

Lead roles in Hair, Rocky Horror Show, Jesus Christ Superstar, Moulin Rouge, Im Weissen Rössl, In 80 Days Around the World, Harry & Sally, Linie 1, King Kong, Moby Dick, and many more. // Directing work and self-productions in Göttingen and Stuttgart.
