Im April 2006 trafen sich die vier Musiker das erste mal im Studio und nach 5 Monaten intensiver Arbeit war das Demo "create yourself!" fertig.

Ein Jahr später tourte The Sonic Boom Foundation über die großen Festivalbühnen in Deutschland, Schweiz,Österreich, Slowenien und Tschechien..

Im Sommer 2008 schloß man einen Deal mit VelocitySounds Rec. und es erschien "the sonic boom foundation" - das selbstbetitelte Labeldebüt im Vertrieb von ALIVE.

Nach einer erfolgreichen ep 2009 ("resistant to change ep") erschien 2010 wieder VelocitySounds Rec. "bad news always good news" - das reifste Werk der Band.

Gefeiert wurde das Album standesgemäß auf vielen großen deutschen Festivals...
