A young couple just before the wedding: He is the typical DIY enthusiast – she hasn’t told him that she hates DIY. Now he has ordered the wedding table at the DIY store and signed her up for “Ladies Night” – and the drama unfolds. Quirky DIY store customers, an eccentric salesperson duo, and three women with highly different ambitions cross paths in the course of the rapid and punchy story.
Plus, music that simply brings good vibes.
"Hammerfrauen – The DIY Store Musical" does not cater to the usual man-woman clichés, but is nonetheless very close to the eternal themes of our togetherness. From now on, there will be hammering and clucking, grilling and flirting, swigging and teasing.
Written by the author trio Robert Löhr (book), among others a "Tatort" author, Bavarian Television Award winner, and international bestseller author, Benedikt Eichhorn (music), who has won nearly all notable cabaret awards with the duo “Pigor & Eichhorn,” and Michael Frowin (lyrics), theater director, cabaret artist, and author for the Komische Oper, Friedrichstadtpalast, and Philharmonie Luxembourg, among others.
