Cover bands are many, but tribute bands are few. Because what FEUERENGEL can do, not everyone can: pay deserved tribute to the original in a highly professional manner – no ifs and buts about it. And they have been doing it for more than 20 years now.
FEUERENGEL are dedicated body and soul, flame throwers and showers of sparks, to their role model RAMMSTEIN. Their own pyrotechnicians provide authentic effects (and not sparingly), famous RAMMSTEIN show elements are painstakingly rebuilt, sound, light show, and stage design are strikingly similar, and the six full-blooded musicians hardly differ – once in action – from the original.
Till Lindemann & Co. have long noticed this and personally honored FEUERENGEL in 1998. And how do you do that? By letting your tribute band perform at their own party. A RAMMSTEIN show for RAMMSTEIN by FEUERENGEL – respect! In 2005, the second invitation followed. This time, FEUERENGEL played for Rammstein and guests at the Berlin Olympic Stadium.
Even television Germany has had the fiery pleasure of a FEUERENGEL fire show. Joko and Klaas booked the tribute band in 2016 for a live challenge on the Pro7 Saturday night show "Mein bester Feind."
Since its founding in 1997, the band has been featured from time to time on TV. On Norddeutscher Rundfunk, on various Dutch channels, and even on MTV.
But even far from TV cameras and media publicity, FEUERENGEL guarantees event organizers a full house. Throughout Germany, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, and Switzerland – twice even in Istanbul – they have played since the founding of the band in 1997 and continue to do so with unbroken success. Loyal as well as new fans have been part of the band for years, as have regular traditional shows at Hamburg's "Docks," Bremen's "Aladin," the Dutch "Metropool" in Hengelo, Switzerland's "Z7" in Pratteln, or Berlin's "Kesselhaus."
FEUERENGEL create a perfect illusion. And they are so successful that sold-out venues are more the rule than the exception. The reactions of concert visitors speak for themselves. "Deceptively real," "stunningly similar," or "no difference in sound" are still the greatest praise for the musicians – even after 20 years and hundreds of concerts.
