GHOST - Nachricht von Sam - Das Musical - Premiere
In New York in the early 1990s, life seems perfect for Sam Wheat and Molly Jensen. They are young, in love, and have just moved into their shared home – a loft full of dreams and future plans. Sam is successfully working as a banker, and Molly is a talented artist who expresses her love for life through her sculptures. However, the couple's happiness doesn't last long: a brutal assault on the street takes Sam's life. In an instant, a love story transforms into an emotional journey between two worlds.
Sam awakens – but his body remains motionless. He is a ghost, trapped between life and death, invisible to all he loves. Desperately, he tries to comprehend reality. When he realizes that his death was not an accident but the result of betrayal, pain turns into determination: Sam wants to protect Molly. The murderer is still at large, and Molly is also in danger. But how can he warn her if she cannot hear or see him?
In his search for a way to make contact, Sam encounters the eccentric medium Oda Mae Brown. She calls herself a spiritualist and life coach. Actually a fraud, she discovers, to her own astonishment, that she can indeed hear Sam's voice. An unusual, humorous, and deeply touching friendship develops between the two. On his journey, Sam also meets other ghosts who help him understand his new abilities – encounters that fluctuate between humor and tragedy, filling the stage with life.
With Oda Mae's help, Sam tries to bring the truth to light and save Molly from impending doom.
