Niklas Paschburg • L'Écho de Bretagne Tour 2026
On Saturday, October 23, 2026, Niklas Paschburg will perform a concert at 8 PM at the Kulturhaus Schwanen Waiblingen, blending neo-classical and electronic music. The Hamburg-based composer, pianist, and producer connects piano motifs with synth textures and beat-driven layers to create a sound that sparks a vivid imagination while still leaving room to breathe – precise, warm, close to pop, yet without pretension.
Paschburg belongs to a generation that does not defend the piano against the laptop, but rather thinks of both as instruments. His pieces often begin with a clear motif, almost like a sketch – and then grow in layers: a pulse that carries instead of pushing forward; harmonies that open up; textures that linger in the space like light. This can taste like ambient pop, electronica, or film music – but without the soundtrack gesture. Rather, it feels like a set that creates tension from tranquility and tranquility from tension.
With "Oceanic" (2018), "Svalbard" (2020), and "Panta Rhei" (2023), Paschburg has developed his own dramaturgy: music as a flowing current that transforms without losing its thread. Precisely for this reason, it works in clubs as well as in concert halls, in churches as well as in small spaces – because it relies not on effect, but on intimacy, groove, and detail. In the Schwanen, this coincides with a hall that can do both: concentrated listening and that quiet "We are all now in the same rhythm."
