ZEKE established a nasty disposition while cutting teeth on their own brash hardcore punk. ZEKE formed in 1993 with an original lineup of Blind Marky Felchtone, Donny Paycheck, Mark Pierce, and Dizzy Lee Roth. The band’s first release was 1993’s ‘West Seattle Acid Party’ single on Wrecking Ball Records, followed by the ‘Holley 750’ single on IFA Records. ZEKE then set out to bring their energetic recordings to the stage and established a more than formidable reputation as “the live band to beat” via concentrated regional touring.
The self titled single ‘Zeke’ was then released on Scooch Pooch Records and was followed by the 1995 release ‘Super Sound Racing.’ ZEKE then hit the road again, unveiling a devastatingly high-octane live assault. The band was heralded as “Rock and Roll outlaws,” playing every conceivable venue that would have them. The release of the next full-length, ‘Flat Tracker’ a year later ensured ZEKE had enough audio ammo to stay on the road for months on end. And tour they would...
In 1997 Man’s Ruin Records issued the live album ‘PIG’ to a rousing response. ZEKE then signed to Epitaph Records in 1998, releasing, ‘Kicked In The Teeth.’ ‘Kicked In The Teeth’ was mixed and engineered by Jack Endino and the album’s increased distribution and availability found the band legions of white-knuckled new followers.
ZEKE recorded the follow up to ‘Kicked in the Teeth’ – ‘Dirty Sanchez’ – with Kurt Bloch of THE FASTBACKS. ‘Dirty Sanchez’ was released in early 2000. ZEKE’s second Epitaph release, ‘Dirty Sanchez’ rocked like a motherfucker. From the beginning quote of “Hey, he’s acting weird, it must be drugs!” to the last roar of the FLEETWOOD MAC’s “Rhiannon,” ‘Dirty Sanchez’ bludgeoned with tireless energy. Following ‘Dirty Sanchez’s’ release, bassist Mark Pierce left the band and was replaced by Jeff “The Kid” Matz.
Throughout the time that ZEKE called Epitaph home, they toured relentlessly. The band paired up with anyone and everyone who would have them, hitting the road with the likes of JERRY CANTRELL (ALICE IN CHAINS), ALL, THE VOODOO GLOW SKULLS, DOA, THE SUPERSUCKERS and even a few dates with PEARL JAM. The band toured the U.S., Europe, Japan and Australia, spreading their rock while breaking all the rules. ZEKE played everything from stadiums with 50,000 people, to bars with 10 people, but the spirit remained the same; rock like this might be the last show ever.
The band’s fifth full-length, ‘Death Alley’ was released in 2001. Even after a solid stretch of similarly themed and arranged albums, ZEKE’s ‘Death Alley’ began with the premise that “fast is just not fast enough.” ‘Death Alley’ continued the band’s full-throttle approach, utilizing ZEKE’s essential formula – a manic, methamphetamine lab distillation of early American hardcore and classic rock – to full effect.
When you’re a punk band that is eternally touring, strange things are bound to happen that will have as much of an influence on the band as the music that got them started. KISS, BLACK FLAG, THE RAMONES and BLACK SABBATH all get a run for the money when it comes to ZEKE antics. When asked about some specifics, vocalist / guitarist Marky Felchtone rattled off a brief list: “Drum sticks in eyes, broken bones, incidents involving cake, drugs and under-aged females, Black Metal homicides, etc...you name it” Felchtone went on to note that the reason he and ZEKE love touring so much is that it’s “it’s the best reason to avoid real responsibility.”
After leaving Epitaph and releasing 2003’s ‘Live and Uncensored,’ ZEKE began writing new material and set out looking for a suitable label that they could not only feel at home with, but one that could handle their “balls to the wall” rock and roll and enjoy the band as fans first. A contract with Relapse was inked in October, 2003 and saw the band join an artist stable (MASTODON, HIGH ON FIRE, ALABAMA THUNDERPUSSY, BONGZILLA, etc) that are at once musically mated and touring compatible. ZEKE found their new home.
ZEKE set the cruise control to “white hot” on their Relapse debut, ”Til the Livin’ End.’ A relentless ride of rock and roll abandon, ZEKE’s ”Til the Livin’ End’ mixes punk nihilism with a hard hitting metal extravagance. ”Til the Livin’ End’ burns from start to finish, as super-charged guitars, electrifying leads and a raucous punk attitude race full- throttle down a highway to Hell.
Thank the gods of rock and roll, you’ve just met your new favorite band.

„The Curse of Unspoken Words“
Stephan Mattner: Tenor saxophone, Philipp van Endert: Guitar, Sebastian Räther: Bass, Jo Beyer: Drums

Supported by the Cultural Secretariat NRW Gütersloh
ZOOM brings us the qualities of the Cologne-Düsseldorf jazz scene very close, highlighting the enormous musical substance that is native to this region. Four experienced musicians walking together on that narrow path that connects stylistic independence with a sense of tradition: Stephan Mattner (Gwilym Simcock, Darcy James Argue, productions with WDR, MDR, BR, Deutschlandfunk); the Düsseldorfer Philipp van Endert (lecturer for jazz guitar at the music universities in Düsseldorf and Osnabrück, active with Mike Stern, Kenny Wheeler, and Gerd Dudek); Sebastian Räther (Nils Wogram, Jonas Burgwinkel, Angelika Niescier) and the native of Essen Jo Beyer (multiple and widely-traveled winner of international emerging jazz awards).
In short: "... four very strong jazz musicians," a "perfectly coordinated formation" (Westfälische Nachrichten).
Doors open approximately 30 minutes before the concert begins.

ZEKE - Support: Black Heart Prophets - Speedrock aus Seattle
ZEKE - http://www.zekeyou.com - from Seattle / USA, founders of the speed rock genre, true adherents of the motto: Everything louder - Everything faster than everything else! The band is on the way to fill Lemmy's boots and become a band like Motörhead, attracting not only metal but also hardcore and punk rock fans in equal numbers, creating a great show for all these musical tribes! ZEKE have just played their killer set at Wacken Open Air - W:O:A, the PunkrockHolidays Festival, the Brutal Assault Festival, the De Zwarte Cross Festival, as well as in many sold-out clubs on their Europe tour. They deliver a real sense of dirty RnR attack in sound, stage action, and attitude, not aiming to please.
As long as there are bands like BLACK HEART PROPHET, Lemmy has every reason to look down from cloud 666 with satisfaction and grumble "those kids, hargh, hargh" into his beard. After all, the debut album of the Freiburg trio carries on the spirit of Ian Kilmister and company, even if the guys led by singer, guitarist, and songwriter Christof "Lurchi" Hoff also cite AC/DC, Rose Tattoo, ZZ Top, and Rory Gallagher as "godfathers." However, the main influence on "To The Bone" for me is Motörhead. This starts with the heavily rock´n´roll-oriented sound, carries on through the similarly gritty, whiskey-soaked (?) vocals, and finds an end in the fleeting visual resemblance between Lurchi and Lemmy. Let 'Move The Mob', 'Origin Of Sin', and 'Chief Of The Bubble' blast through your ear canals, and you'll understand what I mean.

Ezra Collective
Ezra Collective are more than just a band – they are a musical movement that redefines the foundation of modern British sound. With virtuoso ease, they weave jazz, Afrobeat, reggae, hip-hop, and funk into an exhilarating style that transcends genre boundaries and inspires a new generation for improvised music. Their rapid rise is as unique as it is historic: as the first jazz band ever, they won the Mercury Prize in 2023, followed by accolades such as BRIT Group of the Year, the Rolling Stone UK Group Award, and the AIM Award for God Gave Me Feet for Dancing. But their significance goes far beyond trophies. Barack Obama included No Confusion in his annual favorites list, they filled Wembley Arena to capacity as the first jazz band, and even the Sydney Opera House Concert Hall was completely sold out. Ezra Collective stand for musical excellence, cultural openness, and a creative energy that resonates worldwide.

Ezé - 10 Jahre zwischen Welten!
Ezé is a multifaceted Black artist from Burkina Faso who celebrates his migration background. Born in Ouagadougou, Ezékiel Wendtoin Nikiema, alias Ezé, only became Black in Germany. By this, he does not mean his skin color, but the political dimension of being Black in Germany. The award-winning artist empowers himself with his music in a society where Black Africans are placed in many boxes, from which he breaks out powerfully. With his new DIY album "Schwarz wurde Ich," he once again becomes a bridge-builder between people and does not hold back: Without hiding from painful topics, he writes about his own experiences full of punchlines, clarity, and interspersed with humorous irony. His fourth album is Ezé's most political yet personal album to date. It also opens a new musical chapter.
Rhythmically, "Schwarz wurde Ich" returns to the Afro roots. Dynamic and danceable sounds kiss the heart of cosmopolitanism and are primarily inspired by Afro-beats, Afro-trap, Amapiano, drill, and West African vibes. In addition, Ezé sings and raps mainly in German about racism, flight and migration, climate crisis, masculinity, and vulnerability. The post-migrant album will, as usual, be multilingual. The diversity of the album is also reflected in the features with various engaged guest artists.

Ezé - 10 Jahre zwischen Welten!
Ezé. 10 years. Here and there. Not halfway, but fully involved and right in the middle! A diverse life artist, PhD student in German studies, language acrobat, and bridge builder, with a migrant background from Burkina Faso in Germany. Immigrated, became Black, remained loud. From Ouagadougou, via Dresden and Berlin to the world. A cosmopolitan who combines music and languages with socio-political engagement. Danceable, with heart, poetry, and humor: A celebration with Germ-Afro vibes in clubs across the republic.
Current album: Ezé – I Became Black
Ezé is a multifaceted Black artist from Burkina Faso who celebrates his migrant background. Born in Ouagadougou, Ezékiel Wendtoin Nikiema, aka Ezé, only became Black in Germany. By this, he does not refer to his skin color, but rather the political dimension of Blackness in Germany. The award-winning artist empowers himself through his music in a society where Black Africans are often pigeonholed, from which he breaks out powerfully.
With his new DIY album "I Became Black," he once again becomes a bridge builder between people and speaks openly: Without hiding from painful topics, he writes about his own experiences filled with punchlines, clarity, and in between, playful irony. His fourth album is Ezé's most political and personal album to date. It also opens a new musical chapter.

Hal Johnson - Support : Final Impact
Hal Johnson
“Back on the road again” – with their new single '925', HAL JOHNSON turns their back on real life and returns to the streets of this world to play energetic live shows and celebrate life. Their songs, which range between ecstatic rock anthems and multi-part sing-along pop, linger in your sweat-soaked head for hours after the performance. Following the celebrated debut album 'SEASONS' (2020 via Uncle M), numerous support shows for bands like ZEBRAHEAD, MOM JEANS, and THE WARNING allowed HAL JOHNSON to win the hearts of the audience. With 'TIME WILL SHOW', the next EP from the four musicians from Münster is now being released, once again providing an exciting soundtrack for all those who want to escape the dull everyday life and turn night into day. With new sounds and new songs, HAL JOHNSON once again emphasizes their passion for rock music, without forgetting their D.I.Y. and punk roots. Inspired by artists like THE BEATLES and NOFX, they create a unique live experience that invites everyone to forget their worries for a moment and confront the conflicts of our time together.
Final Impact
For Final Impact, punk rock is more than just music – it is a way of life, an expression of anger, honesty, and the best pastime in the world. Phil, Jakob, and Till embody all of this with every note and every word.
Live, Final Impact is always loud and guarantees an electrifying show that breaks down all boundaries between the band and the audience. After their debut album “Turn The Page” in 2015, which established them as an energetic live band, Final Impact has come a long way. They shared the stage with the Donots,
Порнофильмы (Pornofilmy; RUS/GEO), Rantanplan, Turbo AC’s (USA), Sokoninaru (JPN), toured through Germany, the Netherlands, and the Czech Republic, and played at various smaller and medium-sized festivals like the Ackerfest in Schöppenstedt or Rock im Allerpark in Wolfsburg. Their second album “Dying 'Til We Care” marked a turning point. It showcased a more mature band, whose music and songwriting have noticeably evolved. The songs, characterized by personal and social themes, gave the album a special depth. This solidified the band's status within the underground punk rock scene. The band is currently working hard on their third studio album. Fans can look forward to new, energetic songs that will further develop Final Impact’s distinctive sound and once again demonstrate their passion for punk rock.

Jamaram meets Jahcoustix - Welcome to Arunga Tour 2026
In 2026, the new JAMARAM album "Welcome To Arunga" will be released. Arunga stands for unbridled joy of life – and this is exactly what JAMARAM brings to the stage night after night.
Pure live energy, unconditional love for music, and a deep bond with the fans are the foundation on which JAMARAM has established itself as a permanent fixture in the European live scene since its founding in the early 2000s.
As an international traveling circus between reggae, global club sounds, and urban grooves, the eight musicians effortlessly blend various genres into a distinct, danceable sound that defies categorization.
Powerful basslines drive through the room while heartfelt ballads and clever songwriting also leave space for reflection.
In times of AI, algorithms, and artificially created perfection, JAMARAM set a powerful, organic counterpoint with their live music. Their shows are analog, honest, and connecting – music that breathes, sweats, and brings people together.
In light of global paradigm shifts, JAMARAM stands not only for fun and sweat-inducing concerts but also shows a clear political stance: peace, openness to the world, and respect are central values that have always shaped the band. They position themselves against exclusion, intolerance, and isolation, celebrating diversity, community, and joy of life instead – loud, positive, and transnational, just like their concerts.
With new songs from their upcoming album, this fantastic band will once again tour intensively in 2026 to give people a valuable two-hour break from everyday life at every concert.
JAMARAM will be accompanied by their long-time companion Jahcoustix, who will also release his new album "Footprints" in 2026.
