Triosence
After their major international "25 Years Anniversary Tour" with over 50 concerts and more than 25 million listens on Spotify, the band triosence will release their 10th album: "Stories Of Life" under SONY Music Masterworks in September 2025.
The new songs by pianist and bandleader Bernhard Schüler transform personal life stories into touching music. In doing so, he uniquely weaves together catchiness, musical depth, and finesse. His new album deals with the tension between the lows and highs of life and seeks a musical connection between these poles. Titles like "Little Lost Wonder" and "Dear Rainer" deal with hardships and loss. In contrast, "Marakesh Swing" and "Tomato Party" move within carefree, cheerful, and funny moments. Free of inhibitions, the band unites genres such as jazz, pop, folk, Latin, and world music into distinctive sound paintings. The melodies and the song are always at the center of their engagement. Therefore, the band also describes their music style as "songjazz." Their concerts are a fireworks display of captivating, highly virtuosic joy of playing, stylistically colorful and diverse. They offer a broad musical spectrum ranging from contemplative, reflective, and intimate tones to powerful, groovy, and rock rhythms. Additionally, they delight their audience with humorous stories and anecdotes from the bandleader about the songs. The fact that triosence can also captivate non-jazz listeners is proven, among other things, by millions of streams on online music platforms.
With their distinctive style, the trio impresses and delights both audiences and the press not only in their homeland but also around the world. "Delightfully catchy music! One doesn't have to be an expert to recognize the beauty of triosence's melodies." "A deeply moving highlight!" and "An example of musical trinity" are just a few of the press voices that celebrate the trio on an international level.
The music of triosence is characterized, in addition to the equality of the instruments, primarily by the strength of its melodies. A catchiness that never comes across as trivial or simplistic, but allows for a deep dive into the clarity of its structure and beauty, giving the listener ample room for emotions, thoughts, and even dreams.
