One thing is for sure: This is a knight's play. No, actually, it’s a knightess's play. Or let’s say: a modern medieval fairy tale. There will be magic, fighting, and puzzling on this turbulent journey. Martha learns quite a bit – including that not every problem can be solved with a sword.
The two guards, Kalle and Peter, must bring out all their tenderness to accompany this wild fight from a brave knight girl.
Awarded the IKARUS 2022 (an award for outstanding theater productions for children and young people). The play won both the Youth Jury Award and the Expert Jury Award: “The play humorously and naturally breaks not only the role models of the classic fairy tale, but the performers also question themselves. With a fairy-tale setting excellently told, the two develop a joy in playing that is unmatched.”
Daniel Wagner (Paco, Katz und Co), a regular guest in Kempen, comes along with Michael Schwager and the lovable and hilarious production in the selection “Children's Theater of the Month” also visits us. Luckily!
