Junge Nacht - mit „Luka Blau“, „Sasko“, und „Kolja Briesen“
JUNGE NACHT
The first evening of Uferlos 2026 was opened by the “junge Nacht”.
Six young bands from Freising, Munich, and Augsburg played in succession.
On October 24, the “junge Nacht” celebrates a revival at Lindenkeller.
Three of the six bands from May 8 return.
They impress with indie, rock, and alternative in a fresh guise, always in tune with the times.
Thus, the “junge Nacht” becomes a showcase of the young live music scene of the region.
Here you can already hear the stars of tomorrow.
The following bands and musicians are participating:
Luka Blau & Band (Indie singer-songwriter from Munich):
“Soft, but determined and with a hint of smokiness” (Süddeutsche Zeitung) sings LUKA BLAU about everything that moves him. His debut album Bisschen Beides (2024) became a surprise hit, achieving over a million streams and is now regularly played on the most popular radio stations in the German-speaking area.
His songs consciously cross classic genre boundaries. They address ambivalences and contradictions, egoism, and the fast pace of time – but also about new beginnings, the small wonders of life, and, of course, love. In his lyrics, Luka Blau clearly positions himself against the right and shows that pop can be more than mere entertainment.
Together with Betty Akhigbe (bass, violin, vocals), Mayso Schindele (keys, trombone, vocals), and Vincent Crusius (drums, vocals), they create a catchy, touching pop sound that still moves away from the mainstream. Bisschen Beides indeed.
Sasko (Indie jazz-pop from Schwabmünchen):
The Augsburg band Sasko delights with energetic indie pop with jazz elements, distinctive vocals, and danceable rhythms. Their fresh style combines powerful melodies with emotional depth, making Sasko a rising highlight of the southern German music scene. Captivating and distinctive. Strong.
The journey begins in 2023 in the basement of a single-family house in Augsburg's “Bärenkeller” district. Tim, Marwin, Maja, Leon, and Flo. Surrounded by their parents' old electric guitars and played-out Element of Crime records, it quickly becomes clear that this will be more than just a basement band.
Kolja Briesen & Band (Alternative from Freising):
The Freising musician Kolja Briesen has now become a small figure in the local music scene through his active contribution to the Freising music scene and his numerous bands and projects (including blue intended, 15 Steps Closer, Greenhouse Utopia, Kussversuch, Schikane der Straße). Under his real name, the 22-year-old makes music in the style of his idols, Van Holzen, Die Ärzte, or Leftovers, in German and beautifully rocky.
