Cologne singer & songwriter Michael Schweiger, known as DER SCHWEIGER, invites renowned artists to this extraordinary musical concept. With melancholic and sensually graceful songs, Schweiger offers unusual insights into strangely intimate stories. The Cologne musician continually discovers new musical impulses in unconventional sounds and creates a powerful balance between lightness and heaviness.
In addition to PETER KLINKENBERG – the first percussionist and timpanist of the Heidelberg Philharmonic Orchestra, the Syrian percussion virtuoso SHADI AL HOUSH captivates the audience with thunderous rhythms. SHADI AL HOSH unfolds an unexpectedly rhythmic kaleidoscope. In addition to the traditional darbuka drum, he uses the smaller riq with jingles and the large daf – frame drum. ROMAN KUSHNIAROU, born in Minsk, received clarinet lessons from the age of six and later attended a music high school for gifted students. Numerous concert performances in Europe and Australia, collaboration with renowned orchestras. Also, a sought-after saxophonist for Ethno, World, and Pop music. BERND KRAMPE, a sought-after bassist in the Cologne music scene, sets accents with varied bass lines and MORITZ GRÖGER, music producer and multi-instrumentalist, supports the rhythm section with classic drums and rounds off the ensemble with straight and groovy guitar riffs.
