Willy Astor - "Reimart und Lachkunde" - Prädikat Wortvoll
MUSICAL CABARET
In a complicated world, where the universe above and below us no longer adheres to the rules, musical comedian Willy Astor comes with new ideas from his treasure trove of creativity. As Wolfgang Amadeus the emergency doctor, he not only saves many an evening but, in the best case, allows many daily sorrows to be forgotten.
So why carry grumpiness under the turtleneck!?
Songwriter Astor creates a new sense of joviality; he has been a sustainable model for around four decades on stage and thus a classic that one must see and hear time and again! The all-round talent knows like no other how to twist the meaning and sound of words so that something completely new and ultra-comical emerges. And the audience naturally receives humor straight from the producer.
BIOGRAPHY
Actually, Willy Astor was already the entertainer in school as a child. Back then, he shared his jokes without regard for losses or reputation. He felt young and did not need money. Money, according to Astor, is the worst motivation for anything artistic. That he finally stood on stage was also a mix of luck and the awareness that he would only get this chance once, so he had to seize it by the hair. Willy Astor knew even then that it could be difficult to live off art, as there were no so-called "stage professionals" in the family, aside from the involuntary comedians.
About his beginnings, he writes: "After my rejection, I threw myself into practicing guitar and writing songs, went to countless concerts, and soaked up everything that was sound. Literature helped me a lot, even more so the people who made me curious about it." The sought-after entertainment was always his main focus, the kind of entertainment that doesn't go below the belt and doesn't really hurt anyone. For Astor, it is crucial that he picks up people from their worries and troubles, in the spirit of Ringelnatz, who formulated it as follows: "Humor is the button we press so that our collar does not burst."
