The solo parts will be taken by harpist Ida Lindemann, who adds a very special atmosphere to the concert.
The literary framework includes a reading by Tina Nero from her beloved children's books "How the Angel Got Its Points" and "How It All Began." Afterward, there will be an opportunity to have the books signed.
A special reference is made to the anniversary of Wendt & Kühn: 2026 will be entirely dedicated to the "Angel with Harp," which will be celebrated as the anniversary angel for the 111th anniversary of the manufactory – a motif that is also musically and atmospherically reflected in the concert.
The festive conclusion will be the communal singing of Christmas carols with the audience – an atmospheric moment that will conclude the evening in joyful togetherness.

Anna Möbus and Charlotte Welling are not only two freshly baked cabaret artists from the Christmas bakery, they are two equally shameless and winged end-of-the-year figures, also known in Christian terminology as angels. Welling and Möbus, two beguiling graces of comedy, present the unvarnished truth about Christmas with pleasure and relentless honesty since mascara exists.
The angels exchange the Christmas bauble and play everything: Santa Clauses and Christmas women, God and the Holy Woman, Mary and Joseph, Jesus and his sister Jesusi, Erwin and Lise-Lotte, ox and donkey, shepherds and hosts, robe bearers and robe desecrators, llama and tinsel – everyone finds a little place here.
Two lucid arch-bitches of the joyful message proclaim heavenly peace and blow the whistle for a satirical frontal attack on the festival of love. Oh, you joyful one, for joyful, subversive, and grotesque can comedy hardly be. Learn everything about the terrible holy family. The immaculate conception, was it the Holy Spirit or the spot devil? Was Mary really that innocent? Was Joseph just a sandal salesman and Jesus a Waldorf student? Why did redemption begin with a tax audit? Is the Bible the mother of all soap operas? Who ignited the big bang? Who scooped the primordial soup? Were there assistant creators? The Christmas angels know more, they were there.
The probably funniest Christmas story since Christmas stories exist, bitter, sweet, and full of energy.
The loving God is horrified, the audience is thrilled, and the press exults: “a heavenly pleasure” judges the Bethlehem Messenger, and the Nazarene Echo writes: “Two angelic elves as sweet little devils, more versatile than the body of Christ himself.” The Morning Star headlines: “Two bright stars in the firmament of cabaret, simply divine and devilishly good.”
The holy two queens from the Occident rock the stable and hijack the crib. The tree is on fire, punchlines ignite, and hearts laugh. Such hilarity has never been so contemplative.
Long awaited, it has finally succeeded, the fusion of shrill comedy, intelligent religious satire, sharp cabaret, and heart-refreshing foolishness. In about 2376 concise roles, the two highly critical Christmas angels, Möbus and Welling, not only show scenes from the everyday life of the Christian top cast but also beautiful sketches around the festival.

While Michael Kohlhaas exacts bloody revenge, »Michaela Kohlhaas« (Suhrkamp 2026) fights with words, sabotage, and exaggeration. In the face of the injustice she has suffered, she curses her way through the country and encounters the same limits: resistance is not tolerated – especially not that of a woman. Heike Geißler's rewriting of the famous Kleist novella seeks atonement, restitution, and a completely different arrangement of the world. With the support of the Deutsches Theater Göttingen, the author will confront the loving rebel at the Literaturhaus at the beginning of the Kleist year 2027.

Werther falls in love – first with nature, then with Lotte. But Lotte is engaged to Albert, who is pleasant but boring. Werther does not want to interfere in the relationship, especially since he believes he has already overwhelmed Lotte with his intense feelings. He retreats to the court of a count, but court life does not fulfill him. So he returns and hopes for a new beginning with Lotte, but she has since married Albert. Stormily and passionately in love, Werther forces himself back into Lotte's life. He cannot accept the marriage that Lotte clings to – a situation that is both tense and hopeless.

"The Sorrows of Young Werther" became a literary sensation throughout Europe in 1774 and made the only 25-year-old Goethe an overnight star of the young Storm and Stress movement. Originally, Goethe wanted to adapt the material about Werther's unfulfilled love for Lotte into a play, but ultimately chose the form of an epistolary novel. Werther became an identification figure for many, especially young people who yearned for their own self-determined life and felt constrained in their bourgeois existence in the politically and socially charged atmosphere of the time. Does unhappy love still feel the same today? The staging of the "classic" seeks an answer to this…

Mephisto - Der Pakt mit dem Teufel

Play with music based on the novel by Klaus Mann
Höfgen, who only late on accommodates himself with the powers of National Socialism and openly seeks conflict with his Nazi colleague Hans Miklas, initially flees to Paris. Lotte Lindenthal, the wife of the “air force general” and prime minister, a rather mediocre actress herself, wishes for Höfgen as a partner for her Berlin debut at the State Theatre and manages to convince her husband, “the fat one,” to bring Höfgen back to Berlin.
As a passionate actor, to whom the role of Mephisto in Goethe's Faust seems tailor-made, the opportunist Höfgen realizes far too late that he has indeed made a pact with the devil. Almost all the people who mean something to him he will lose in this free fall into the moral abyss: his beloved Juliette, his wife Barbara, his communist friend Otto. Only the actress and soulmate Nicoletta will stand by him, with whom he has entered into a marriage of convenience to escape persecution due to his sexual preferences.
In the end, Hendrik has become an "ape of power," a "clown to distract the murderers." An actor torn between career and conscience.
