A musical biography by & with Sigrid Grajek
Claire Waldoff was the star on the stages of the great cabarets and variety shows from 1907 to 1935 - not only in Berlin. Her songs were sung or whistled in the streets, by garbage collectors and millionaires. "Hermann heeßt er!", "Wer schmeißt denn da mit Lehm?" or "Sein Milieu" were known by every child.
Like no other, she hit the right note that touched people, because she simply "wanted to sing about life" - about the worries and troubles, about the joys and entanglements that life brings.
Even before the era of the "new woman" was declared, she took all the liberties that came to her mind. For that, she was loved by everyone. She was a bundle of energy, a mischievous spirit, and triggered enthusiastic bursts of laughter. Without her, the so-called "Golden Twenties" would have been considerably poorer...
Through her songs and against the backdrop of Germany's tumultuous history, we relive her life. The press writes: "Hilariously funny, beautifully tear-jerking and sing-along worthy! Go see it! Watch it!" (Siegessäule)

The self-confident cowgirl Calamity meets two upright Swabian brothers who are seeking their fortune in the Wild West. The three get caught in a furious whirlwind of action-packed comedy, crazy misunderstandings, and adventurous mix-ups.

And there are original Western characters that haven't made it into the official history books: funny undertakers, shot salon pianists, woke Indians with a penchant for self-sticking, corruptible horses, and trigger-happy prairie dogs...

And of course, the main actors (who not only play all supporting characters but also enjoy portraying a dried-up cactus when the production budget doesn't stretch to a real one). The Cologne cabaret artist Dagmar Schönleber is there, Uli Boettcher of course, Udo Zepezauer as well as the all-around musician Sascha Bendiks.

Shotguns, firewater, and darn good fun - the new comedy at the Hoftheater is packed with plenty of punchlines, absurd dialogues, and catchy songs - It can only be jolly!

Ornamenta is a cultural program in Pforzheim and the Nordschwarzwald region that takes place from July 5 to September 29, 2024. On new routes with art and design, visitors experience exhibitions, public artworks as permanent installations, and events at more than 20 locations in the Nordschwarzwald.

For three months, the municipalities in the region are expanded through five thematic neighborhoods. These new communities with the names Inhalatorium, Solartal, Bad Databrunn, Schmutzige Ecke, and Zum Eros address topics that concern the people of the region and Europe alike. From sunshine and clean air to social taboos and technology, each thematic community serves as a place of interaction: local associations showcase unexpected partnerships with international cultural practitioners, traditional institutions meet progressive artists, regional industries are enriched by ideas from young designers.

I Dolci Signori is one of the most successful Italo Pop groups in Europe. The ensemble of top musicians has been touring incessantly since 2002 and has been extremely successful both nationally and internationally. Countless festivals with tens of thousands of enthusiastic fans are the result, and were also the reason for director and theater director Stefan Tilch to even produce a specially staged Italo Pop musical "Azzurro" with the band in 2017. Here, the musicians of I Dolci Signori also slip into the role of actors and shine doubly. The musical has been running incessantly in sold-out theaters since 2018!

Now I Dolci Signori are presenting their new stage program: "The big night of Italian world hits!"

Visitors can expect a unique selection of the most wonderful Italian pop songs of recent decades, packaged in a particularly entertaining and entertaining stage program.

Unforgettable hits from Eros Ramazzotti, Zucchero, Adriano Celentano, and Al Bano Carrisi are just as much a part of it as the Neapolitan bards Renato Carosone and Cantautori or Lucio Dalla.

Jever Pilsener comes from Jever, located in a very special part of Germany: Friesland. The water, the air, the light, and last but not least, the rough climate have shaped the Frisian landscape and Jever Pilsener. We invite you to explore the secrets of Jever - during an exciting brewery tour!

The Frisian and bitter experience

The brewery tour begins with a knowledgeable guided tour through the historic brewery museum and our modern brewing facility from the brewhouse to the bottling, where up to 60,000 bottles are filled per hour. The bottling process is very likely to be running on weekdays, but due to possible maintenance, cleaning, and setup work, this is not guaranteed in every case. Particularly on Friday afternoons and Saturdays, the bottling process is relatively unlikely to be in operation. We ask for your understanding in advance.

After the tour, we offer a tasting (30 minutes) of our Jever beers for all individuals aged 16 and over, with a choice of two glasses of Jever Pilsener, Jever Fun, Jever Fun Lemon, Jever Fun Blood Orange, or Jever Light. Non-alcoholic drinks are also available. In addition, our brewery taproom serves a homemade snack and presents a souvenir gift. For children and teenagers (up to 15 years), a soft drink and a small snack are provided.

A final word:
Safety is very important to us. We kindly ask that you strictly follow the instructions of the brewery guides during the tour. Wearing sturdy shoes and bringing an umbrella in case of bad weather is recommended. Please be aware that our brewing facility is not accessible for individuals with mobility impairments or wheelchair users as there are long walkways and stairs to navigate. Therefore, the tour is unfortunately not suitable for people with walking disabilities or wheelchair users.

How about a visit to our Jever Shop? Just a few steps from our brewery, you will find everything a Jever fan's heart desires. We are open from 10 am to 6 pm on weekdays and from 10 am to 2 pm on Saturdays.

"History of Rock`n`Roll - The Show" offers an unparalleled variety of hits from the 50s and 60s in an electrifying sound. Hits from Rock`n`Roll legends such as Bill Haley, Chuck Berry, Elvis Presley, Buddy Holly, to name a few, will be played...

The audience embarks on an incredible journey through the decades, during which they will experience the musical evolution in an impressive and direct way. The main performers of the show are the musicians of the band "BOOGIE PILOTS", who are among the most sought-after Rock`n`Roll musicians in Germany and are 100% Rock`n`Roll specialists.

In addition, time travelers will learn interesting details about the artists' biographies or the different music styles that have developed in Rock`n`Roll (e.g. Rockabilly, Northern, New Orleans, or Highschool). But don't worry: the main focus is always on partying and the joy of music - the audience will experience the great hits of Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, Bill Haley, or Buddy Holly up close and live! As the years progress, the number of musicians gradually increases until reaching the gigantomania of Las Vegas, where Elvis Presley in the 70s will finally write the spectacular final chapter of real Rock`n`Roll.

The show is a tribute to the old Rock`n`Roll times and their legendary musical representatives, whose music still captivates people to this day! Hits like "Peggy Sue", "Everyday", "Rock Around The Clock", "Johnny B. Goode", "See You Later Alligator", "Jailhouse Rock" come together in a musical fireworks display and will ensure that no one in the audience remains seated.

Fools Garden Festivalpass
Great Plans for Pforzheim: With this festival, Fools Garden is bringing the city to life!
Their songs have traveled from Pforzheim out into the world, now the "Lemon Tree" is returning to its roots. In early August 2024, the pop band Fools Garden will host a three-day festival with many musical guests and some surprises, in partnership with the Kulturhaus Osterfeld. The occasion is the band's 33rd anniversary.

Nearly 40 artists and bands will perform, all with a connection to the band - a shared history. "We begged them all to come," jokes Freudenthaler about his countless phone calls in recent months. Personal contacts mattered, rarely did it go through the arduous route of management.
The fact that the Grammy-winning SWR Big Band and the Southwest German Chamber Orchestra will share the stage on the first evening is especially exciting for everyone. Others like Sons of Mannheim co-founder Rolf Stahlhofen reflect Freudenthaler's gratitude. "Whether in the Philippines, Brazil, or China - wherever I went, I always heard this song. It's like a religion," enthuses the singer.

On Friday, August 2, a charity gala is planned at the CCP, including a raffle for charitable purposes. The money will go towards specific projects: regionally to the "People in Need" aid campaign by the "Pforzheimer Zeitung", which is also a media partner of the festival, and nationally to the "Water is Right" foundation, founded by Rolf Stahlhofen. All artists will perform without payment, and there are numerous sponsors so that as much as possible can be donated.

Event Location
The flourishing traditional brewery from Freiburg has existed for over 150 years and has made a name for itself beyond the city limits with its diverse range of beers. In addition, the brewery's premises regularly host well-attended events and parties.

In 1865, Ludwig Ganter founded the brewery in the house Zum Kindlein Jesu. This building was previously inhabited for several years by the Dutch scholar Erasmus of Rotterdam. Ganter initially brewed with a small brewing system from the 18th century. Due to excellent sales, the brewery expanded.

Once the first beat drops, Benjamin Stanford transforms and becomes the singer, rapper, toaster, beatboxer, technician, and whirling dervish Dub FX, this irresistible one-man dubstep orchestra. Now, the Australian artist, who seems to always be on tour and apparently keeps detailed records of it, has announced that he is coming to Europe for the 15th time on a concert tour to present his eagerly anticipated new album live. Already from 2004 to 2013, Rosenau, together with Theater Rampe, Theaterhaus, Literaturhaus, and Laboratorium, annually organized the "Viennese Week" festival. The idea was to focus on Vienna/Austria for a week and specifically invite cabaret artists, writers, authors, and theater productions from there to Stuttgart. The series "Wiener Blut" now picks up on this idea again. Throughout the year, various Austrian cabaret artists will present their programs at Rosenau: Social, political, and interpersonal topics are entertainingly brought to the stage in a cabaret style! And everything is a bit more biting, sinister, ironic, quirky, and often more poetic than from German territory.

Guided tour through the old town, the historical rooms of the city palace, and the cathedral
In addition to the Baroque quarter, the old town is the second major historic district in Fulda. Medieval half-timbered houses, the city walls with well-preserved defensive towers, guild churches, old market squares, and street names indicating their function in the Middle Ages characterize the cityscape here.
The highlight of the Baroque quarter is the residence palace in the city center. Between 1706 and 1714, the palace was significantly expanded in the Baroque style by Johann Dientzenhofer, the master builder of the Baroque cathedral, as the residence of the prince-abbots and later prince-bishops.
The cathedral is not only the most famous landmark of Fulda, but above all, it is the most important Baroque church in Hesse. Since the elevation of the Abbey of Fulda to a principality, the church has been a cathedral and therefore the bishop's church.
