Know, know? Drawers? Those square things full of prejudices and clichés? Know? Lennard Rosar wants to abolish them. At least in the minds. And so he prefers to watch *Shopping Queen* than Bundesliga, passionately irons his laundry to Heavy Metal and wonders if his view of people isn't full of prejudices itself. But how can one walk through the world without prejudice? When everything is always divided faster into ones and zeros? System whore vs. Corona denier, climate sticker vs. car lobby, left vs. right. Can one really do without the countless drawers in the mind? Huh!
"The 29-year-old, heavily tattooed man with a full beard and many rings on his well-manicured fingers doesn't fit into any profession. With satirical tales from everyday life and poetic short stories, the Cologne native playfully and extremely humorously points out contemporary societal issues and also provides food for thought for changes." This is how the feuilleton could write about him.
In his first program *Shieldmaiden*, Lennard not only reconsiders various clichés, but also asks simple questions to his own consumer self and develops solutions for all the many sensitivities of Average Joe and Jane: From rating systems for misleading advertising slogans, free scooter concerts on the roofs of all atheists in direct vicinity of active church towers to the legalization of electroshock devices in the workplace, everything is included. But of course, it also deals with sexism: Where does equality begin and above all, where does it end again? Do we really need Catholic priestesses first to inappropriately touch the altar girls to overthrow the patriarchy? Many questions, a big heap of absurd ideas and in between, a fiercely defiant Huh!
This has already put him in the finals of the Nightwash Talent Award 2020 and the Hot Shots of the Quatsch Comedy Club 2023, as well as the Hamburger Comedy Cup 2022, read at the Frankfurt Book Fair (and got paid for it!) and is a regular guest at shows like the Quatsch Comedy Club, Nightwash, or the Comedy Night.
"A multi-talent that you should definitely not miss." - Marlene Krursel, Choices Cologne.
"Lennard Rosar from Cologne strikes a more delicate tone. In the young man with a man bun, tattoos, and beard, stand-up comedian, Viking, and cabaret artist converge." - Hessian / Lower Saxony General
