“Songs of Great and Small Miracles” is the title of the current program by singer and songwriter Uta Desch. Unfortunately, her long-time guitarist Boris Daus had to cancel the concert on February 14 due to health reasons. However, Uta was able to engage one of the most versatile and technically skilled guitarists in the German music scene for the evening of songs: Thomas Langer.
Thomas Langer stands for musical excellence, creativity, and the ability to touch people around the world with his art. His guitar playing is characterized by virtuosity, passion, and an understanding of the magic of the moment.
On this Valentine’s evening, the two experienced musicians will joyfully dedicate themselves almost entirely to the greatest of all wonders: LOVE. In addition to many cheeky songs, there will be songs about all forms of love. Because besides romantic love, there are many other “variants of love”: love for a child, for nature, for what we do every day, for life itself. Not to forget self-love, which is so often confused with selfishness… The catchy program is garnished with songs by the Beatles, Bob Dylan, and Gregor Meyle.
Thus, the two have put together a deeply moving and exceptionally entertaining song program, because in music, just like in real life, it is always about love, isn’t it?
