take place in Landau in der Pfalz. The audience is offered an extraordinary open-air event. You can expect a multifaceted
theatrical experience and impressions that will surely stay in your memory!
Admission to the performances begins at 4:30 PM at the Deutschen Tor. From 5 PM, food will be served at the Wirtshaus im Deutschen Tor, which can only be booked in advance. The participating wineries, Weingut Familie Sauer/Landau-Nußdorf, Stiftsweingut Frank Meyer/Gleiszellen-Gleishorbach, serve summer wines and more before and after the performances.
The performance begins at the Deutschen Tor at 6:30 PM. The prologue as a site-specific theater, lasting about one hour, takes the audience from the Deutschen Tor
through the old town of Landau to the courtyard of the Otto-Hahn-Gymnasium. There, after a break of about 30 minutes, the Dreigroschenoper starts on a specially constructed theater stage. The running time is 2.5 hours. The enclosed courtyard of the Otto-Hahn-Gymnasium is seated.
