Twenty years have passed since SUBWAY TO SALLY redefined the rules for acoustic concerts with their first NACKT tour. Then as now, NACKT was more than just a concert series – it was an emotional state of exception. From the quietest ballad to wild escalation, from bittersweet melancholy to unrestrained excess: The closeness to the audience made every evening an unforgettable experience.
This chapter began in 2006, and it was continued in 2010 with NACKT II – now the time is right for a new round, because all good things are naked three: In 2026, the Potsdam band returns with NACKT III – Lügen & Legenden to the acoustic stages and dives deep into its own history. Nostalgic, crazy, playful, and virtuosic – SUBWAY TO SALLY once again shows another side of themselves.
Lügen & Legenden
The title refers to the myths that have accumulated over 35 years of band history. What is true, what is invented? Which stories have been embellished, which lies have long since become legends? SUBWAY TO SALLY takes these questions as the occasion for a show that, with a wink, brings memories back to life, retells old tales, and perhaps also sets new rumors into the world.
In an intimate atmosphere, close to the audience, visitors can expect an evening between living room and theater stage, between poetry and pure joy of play. “NACKT III – Lügen & Legenden” is an invitation to all companions to celebrate life – and in the end perhaps one last time to be together naked.

Coppelius
Moshpit-Theater Concert Tour

Where does the rock concert begin and when does it become an opera? How long does the esteemed audience maintain its composure, and when does the mosh pit erupt? At Coppelius, the audience wears tails and carries a cane, a gown and a fan, thus becoming part of the performance.

The gentlemen of Coppelius themselves perform in tailcoats and top hats on classical instruments - yet the cello, clarinets, and double bass do not sound like they do in an orchestra. Instead, the inclined listeners are blasted with a hard-hitting rock barrage.

As a new album by Coppelius is on the way, there will also be new pieces to be heard, alongside coppelian favorites and long-unheard surprises.

Coppelius is the only band that can still afford a butler in the 21st century. He guides the evening, sings, serves the gentlemen on and off stage, and sometimes loses his composure himself.

When, after the concert, everything lies in tatters and ruins, both musicians and the audience joyfully pour out into the night. Healing.

She is blue and yellow, loves music, and has become a big hit in German children's rooms: Eule, the coolest mediator of musical adventures, is on a big exploratory journey. With tremendous success! Since the release of Charlotte Simon, Nina Addin, and Christina Anders's (Raack) debut audio play, the three albums of Eule have sold around half a million copies. Since 2016, the innocent Eule has also been on the theater stage in the production by Christina Anders (Raack) and Cristiana Garba, delighting children and parents. Over 30,000 visitors all over Germany have already celebrated a theater-concert party with Eule. Now, the sequel finally follows!

The Story
Music is the language of feelings. Eule discovers this in the third part of her exciting journey through the world of music because she wants to write her first ukulele song! But how does one do that anyway? In her quest for answers on what it takes to compose a first song, Eule not only organizes a concert in the forest but also meets a whole bunch of new musical friends. Each carries a different feeling in their baggage, with its own unique beat. She encounters highs like love, joy, and courage, but also sadness, anger, and fear on her path. In the end, Eule has learned a lot about feelings and feels how good it is to express them through music.

The Production
While the show for Eule Part 1 explores the boundaries between theater, concert, and interactive party, Garba and Anders focus on emotions in the staging of the third part. "It is important to us to bring the audience literally close to the feelings," says Garba and Anders. "Feelings aren't just there. They develop, build up, and find their way to the surface. The emergence and actual feeling are always the result of an interaction between inner and outer factors. We can shape the outside and create a connection. Of course, through music, but also through the use of light and the expressiveness of the body." For the young viewers, the live music experience will not change. With their well-coordinated five-person team, only live-performed songs will be presented once again this time.

Hardline is an American rock band formed in 1992. Known for their blend of hard rock and melodic metal, they first gained attention with their debut album Double Eclipse in 1992. The original lineup of the band consisted of powerhouse vocalist Johnny Gioeli, guitarist Neal Schon (from Journey), and drummer Deen Castronovo (also from Journey). This star-studded formation significantly contributed to the early success of the band and gave their music a polished, commercial sound.

Double Eclipse included several hits, including the popular songs "Hot Cherie" and "Takin' Me Down," which helped solidify Hardline's reputation as a band capable of delivering catchy yet powerful rock anthems. The combination of melodic hooks and expressive vocals created a distinctive sound that appealed to both arena rock and melodic metal fans.

After the initial success of Double Eclipse, however, the band struggled with lineup changes and periods of inactivity. Despite these challenges, Johnny Gioeli remained the driving force behind Hardline, and the band continued to release albums, including II (2002), Leaving the End Open (2009), Danger Zone (2012), Life (2016), and Heart, Mind and Soul (2021). These albums showcase the band's evolution while retaining their signature style of melodic, powerful rock and Gioeli's unmistakable voice.

The sound of Hardline is characterized by an energetic mix of melodic rock, powerful vocals, and classic rock influences. Over the years, the band has maintained a loyal fan base despite changing lineups, and their music continues to reflect their roots in the hard rock and melodic metal scenes of the 1980s and 1990s.

The band is still active today and is known for their passionate live performances as well as their ability to create music that appeals to both fans of classic hard rock and modern melodic metal.

Jess Jochimsen confronts the pervasive brain and heart glacierization with his unique mix of clever political satire, beautifully poignant songs, and uproariously funny slides.

“Are we abandoned by all good spirits?” That is likely the question that arises in light of the current situation. From Musk to Merz, we are witnessing the return of the wounded men and while one can watch in real-time as autocrats in the West and East shred democracy, our tiniest big coalition of all time is throwing a 90s party on credit. Was it really wise to elect someone as chancellor who demonstrates almost daily that he can't do it? And capitalism, climate change, and bachelorette parties are still here...

But because despair is not a solution, the multiple award-winning author and cabaret artist shouldering his accordion, packs enough reason, solidarity, and calmness, and prescribes himself optimism. Because: Who or what exactly are these good spirits that are leaving us? And why always all of them?

In his quest for answers, Jochimsen wanders through suburbs and amusement parks, pays homage to politeness and other forgotten virtues and promises an inspiring evening against the ongoing demands. Relaxed. Funny. And hopelessly optimistic.

Harald Schmidt began his career in the 1980s as an actor and cabaret artist before gaining great fame as a television presenter and satirist with "Schmidteinander" and "Die Harald Schmidt Show." In keeping with this year's motto, the Kultursommer 2026 will be inaugurated with a high-profile pre-opening on May 1 at 20:00 in the Kasino of Kammgarn Kaiserslautern. The event begins with the Moka Efti Orchestra – THE swing big band that impressively brings the authentic sound of the 1920s to life. The ensemble is well known to a wide audience, not least for its participation in the successful series Babylon Berlin.

From 22:00 at the Cotton Club, the British formation Nubiyan Twist takes over the musical reins and bridges to the present: With an energetic mix of jazz, afrobeat, and hip-hop, enriched with fine references to the swing of the 1920s, they reinterpret the sound of the Roaring Twenties in a contemporary way.

An evening that unites the past and the present - an exhilarating pre-opening for the Kultursommer 2026!

Mr. Jan - who prefers to be addressed informally - liked this name and incorporated it into his musical creation.

From the tenderness of singer-songwriter pop, the relaxation of reggae, and the exuberance of hip-hop, Mr. Jan develops lovingly detailed compositions and multi-part melodies. He creates musical landscapes for equally inviting, contemplative, and empowering themes that most families recognize from both everyday life and conversations about the big questions of life. A special place is given to the vast field of emotions in this.

Through his lovingly curated Spotify playlist "Elternative Kindiemukke," he establishes a unique term that summarizes his sound and that of other esteemed colleagues.

The stage: Mr. Jan and his Superbänd

Good, handmade music often gets even better on stage - this is also true for the songs of Mr. Jan, and he, together with his Superbänd in trio to quintet formation, seizes every opportunity to perform his songs live at festivals, open airs, or clubs.
A Mr. Jan concert is a colorful adventure for the whole family. While Jan is often busy as a producer in the studio, the energy and connection that a live concert can create is simply a whole different dimension. Mr. Jan and his fellow musicians Angelino, Janis, Judith, and Masl pass instruments to one another - piano, guitar, keys, drums, trumpet - with Mr. Jan in between, singing, rapping, celebrating, sharing life stories, but every now and then also striking quieter tones - it's all about the concert as a live experience.

"With my Superbänd, we take the audience on an adventure and create an atmosphere that feels good and is a lot of fun. My concerts are real and guaranteed without playback because everyone has the right to good live music."

His songs are played again and again on children's radio, and he can be seen repeatedly on the TV channel KiKa. In 2022, he received the German Children's Song Award for his song "My 5 Minutes." With this momentum and a new album in hand, he will also be going on a big concert tour in 2025.

In his stage program "Ein runder Abend – mit Fußball & Freunden," the charismatic football manager, TV expert, and audience favorite welcomes a surprise guest from the world of sports in every show. Classic never goes out of style

The Jambo Trio is inspired by the classic tradition of Samba Jazz trios from the 1950s and 1960s and combines elements of North American jazz, samba, Latin jazz, and bossa nova. The repertoire includes both original compositions and works by composers associated with this genre, such as Baden Powell, Moacir Santos, César Camargo Mariano, J. Meirelles, João Donato, and others.

The Jambo Trio has a classic lineup: jazz piano trio – piano, double bass, and drums. On piano: Luis Henrique New, on bass: Everson Vargas, and on drums: Ricardo Arenhaldt.

All members of the Jambo Trio have academic training in music and are also active as educators in addition to their performance work. The Jambo Trio members have gained professional experience in various parts of the world, including Japan, Europe, Latin America, and North Africa.

The group was formed in 2019 and is increasingly gaining importance in the Brazilian cultural scene. Their repertoire consists of original compositions as well as works by some composers who inspired the emergence of the characteristic sound of the Jambo Trio.

After years of work and intensive musical development, the three members of the Jambo Trio feel ready to record an album of original compositions, as they have already presented this repertoire with great acclaim and success at jazz festivals and events for instrumental music.

The diversity of musical experiences among the three members contributes to the development of the trio's musical language, which has now evolved into a unique, unmistakable sound with a lot of personality.

Reinterpretations, if they occur, are already in line with the musical language and concept of the Jambo Trio.

It is important to mention that samba jazz trios served as a foundation for numerous artists of bossa nova and MPB (Música Popular Brasileira).

The Jambo Trio is increasingly establishing itself as a significant group in the instrumental music scene and has already participated in numerous events at cultural and institutional venues.

In 2023, the group performed on two significant stages: at the International Jazz Day (an event initiated by pianist Herbie Hancock that takes place worldwide every year) at the Farol Santander and at the Poa Jazz Festival.

Furthermore, the group has committed to give eight concerts at Sixteen Jazz in 2023. During these, they regularly invite musicians and singers from the music scene, create varied programs, including tributes to Raul de Souza and Adão Pinheiro, and collaborate with international musicians such as Ademir Cândido, Jorginho do Trumpete, Juliano Barreto, and others.

Nautilus is a Japanese jazz trio led by drummer Toshiyuki Sasaki. Together with bassist Shigeki Umezawa and Mariko Nakabayashi on keyboard, they are known for their distinctive style, which can be described as modern rare groove, embodying a mix of jazz, funk, disco, soul, and even hip-hop.

It all started with a song - and the song was called "Nautilus." The Tokyo drummer Toshiyuki Sasaki heard it someday and then named his freshly formed band after this obscure Bob James groove piece from 1974. In this mix of digging, rare as well as organic grooves, Nautilus began to play their sound mix influenced by earlier music. Only this time, it was new and came from Japan.

Soon, the German DJ and digger Oonops aka Patrick Decker stumbled upon the Nautilus version of Roy Ayers' "We Live In Brooklyn Baby" and was immediately enthusiastic. So he got in touch with the band and has been releasing their productions outside Japan for several years now. The Tokyo trio Nautilus is certainly one of the best rare groove bands of the new generation in Japan, which is now also highly praised outside of Nippon.

This May, their new album "Sunken Scores" will be released on the German label Oonops Drops, focusing on movie soundtracks and TV scores. With 12 strong cover versions from the film landscape and one original composition that carries the unmistakable signature of Nautilus, they will once again get the audience grooving.
