The children want to rock!
HEAVYSAURUS are four dinosaurs and a dragon bringing rock music to the stage for the whole family – a true live experience with child-friendly lyrics and a spectacular show. In February 24, a new album was released, and the band is setting out on a big "POMMESGABEL TOUR 2024"!
The fork known as "Pommesgabel" is already recognized by the youngest fans: Index finger and pinky finger extended, hand proudly raised – the recognition sign of all rockers and dino metalheads of every age. Therefore, the next HEAVYSAURUS album had to be called "POMMESGABEL". It was released on February 2, 2024, and continues the story of the five music-playing prehistoric creatures with brand new songs.
Once again, HEAVYSAURUS offers powerful riffs, great melodies, and captivating drum beats, to which the little (or big) listeners can sing, dance, and go wild as they please. Real rock music, sometimes wild, sometimes soft, with lyrics specifically for the little biggest fans. The first taste is already out with the single "Luna - our dog", and the next song "Flugsaurier" will follow at the end of July.
To celebrate the album appropriately, HEAVYSAURUS (and the five professional musicians in the cool dino costumes who play live) will be on the road starting in February: The "POMMESGABEL TOUR 2024" will stop in over 100 cities to offer 3- to 11-year-olds and their companions of all ages a unique concert experience: Four dinosaurs and a dragon, with real instruments on a big stage, featuring a light spectacle, fog, rain of sparks, balloons, and confetti. And of course with the songs that many children (and parents) can already sing along to, such as "Kaugummi ist mega," "Stark wie ein Tiger," and of course "Rarrr," the battle cry of the dinosaurs joyfully shouted by many laughing mouths. All five green-scaled musicians are also looking forward to finally playing new songs from the "POMMESGABEL" album.
HEAVYSAURUS has already performed over 300 shows in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland in recent years, always delighting not only the children but also their parents and grandparents. Because every Heavysaurus concert is a spectacle for the whole family. The result: sold-out venues, great atmosphere, and happy rockers of all ages. And at home, the pieces from both albums "Rock’n’Rarrr Music" (2018) and "Retter der Welt" (2020) are on constant repeat, which are well received by parents as well.
"We have always cared a lot about conveying the fun of rock music and heavy metal to children," explains singer Mr. Heavysaurus. "We are excited when we can offer some little fans their very first concert experience! Everyone in the band has loved live music for, well, 65 million years. It's wonderful when our little friends find enjoyment in it as well." The "real" Tyrannosaurus Rex adds, confidently: "And of course, we want to win over the hearts of all metal fans. With us, parents, grandparents, and older siblings also have fun. The POMMESGABEL TOUR will be an experience – promised. A big dino honor."
By the way: In 2024, the young dino metalheads can again meet Riffi Raffi (guitar), Muffi Puffi (bass), Komppi Momppi (drums), Milli Pilli (keyboards), and of course Mr. Heavysaurus in person. Because there will be limited VIP ticket allocations that will allow the little biggest fans to meet the dinosaurs, shake their paws, and take photos.
Additionally, Heavysaurus is now the official brand ambassador of 'Die Arche', a nationwide organization in Germany that advocates for disadvantaged children and their families. "Our partnership with Die Arche reflects our commitment not only to create great music for children but also to have a positive impact on their lives," explains Michael Thiesen from Frechdachs Entertainment. "Together, we want to create a world where all children have the opportunity to realize their dreams. The cooperation with 'Die Arche' is a matter close to our hearts. We believe that music has the power to touch and connect people. By working with 'Die Arche', we want to provide help to children in difficult life situations and show them that they are not alone."
For the parents: The concerts take place in the afternoons and with adjusted volume levels. Whenever possible, there is a dedicated children's area in front of the stage with the best view for the little ones. And don't worry: The dinosaurs do not bite.
