Rocking Christmas
12/14/2025 / 6:00 PM
Eimke, Eimke, Kulisse Eimke

It is just before Christmas, in the early 1960s. Luise and Gideon are married and live with their daughter Petra at Gideon's mother's house to save up for their first furnishing. The traditional shop Huvenstedt has specialized from stockings to shoes – and Luise runs it now, while the Huvenstedt couple and their goldfish Tiffy are on a spa retreat in Sylt.

Meanwhile, Gideon tries his hand at being a househusband – much to the chagrin of his mother, who has little understanding for mini skirts, rock 'n' roll, and other "modern vices." As Luise juggles work and family, her uncle suddenly appears. The shop is in chaos, the new employee Mr. Hassreuter is asking an unusually high number of questions, and the last Christmas orders still need to be sent out…

What Peter Alexander has to do with it – and why in the end it is said "One will win" – you will find out in Rocking Christmas. Look forward to a new musical full of rocking Christmas classics, a complicated story, and a reunion with old acquaintances.

For fans of the "Swinging Christmas" series, the wait for the sequel is finally over – but don't worry, newcomers can follow the story without any limitations.

The foyer opens at 4:30 PM, auditorium entrance 30 minutes before the performance begins.

Swinging Christmas
12/18/2025 / 7:30 PM
Eimke, Eimke, Kulisse Eimke

Two days before Christmas. In the office of the fashion company Huvenstedt, there is chaos. The latest collection of women's stockings must be completed before Christmas. But where are the designs? Mrs. Huvenstedt suspects that her husband is involved with a lady from the competition in more than just a business relationship. Poor secretary Luise Streuer is constantly pressured by Mr. Huvenstedt to cover up his affairs from his wife. Ulrike and Gwendolin have long been aware of the latest office gossip, and the unassuming messenger boy Gideon dares not confess his love for Luise. To top it all off, Mrs. Huvenstedt's goldfish Tiffy must also make it through the holidays safely.

A gripping, light-hearted mix-up comedy with the charm of the 1950s and Christmas classics like "I’m dreaming of a white Christmas," "Baby it’s cold outside," "Jingle Bells," and many more.

Will Tiffy survive the festivities unharmed, and will Mr. Huvenstedt escape from his escapades unpunished?

Book & Direction: Annette Krossa

Two days before Christmas. In the office of the fashion company Huvenstedt, everything is in chaos. The latest collection of women's stockings must be finished before Christmas. But where are the designs?
Mrs. Huvenstedt suspects that her husband is having more than just a business relationship with a lady from the competition. The poor secretary Luise Streuer is constantly pressured by Mr. Huvenstedt to cover up his affairs from his wife. Ulrike and Gwendolin, of course, have long been aware of the latest office gossip, and the unassuming messenger boy Gideon is too afraid to confess his love to Luise. To make matters worse, Mrs. Huvenstedt's goldfish Tiffy must also survive the holidays safely.

A provocative, cheerful mistaken identity comedy with the charm of the 50s and Christmas song classics like "I’m dreaming of a white Christmas," "Baby it’s cold outside," "Jingle Bells," and many more.

Will Tiffy survive the festive season unscathed, and will Mr. Huvenstedt escape his escapades unpunished?

Rheinische Lieder
2/14/2026 / 7:30 PM
Eimke, Eimke, Kulisse Eimke

Karneval famously divides the spirits. One flees, the other travels specially for it.

Here in the north, one views the festivities rather soberly. Rightly so? Because the Rhineland has far more to offer musically than just Carnival.
But now, for the 4th time in a row, native Rhinelander Daniel Holtz leads the audience along the Rhine in Eimke. And this time he even has reinforcements: Patrizia Margagliotta, a cheerful Rhinelander with Italian influences.
One can't help but dream of a glass of wine on a warm summer night by the Rhine.
And when the wine starts to take effect, everyone sways together towards Carnival, with the Bläck Fööss, Marie Luise Nikuta, and the Höhner.

Look forward to a varied journey and get to know the traditional songs and Rhine culture in a new way.
