Together, we listen to the sounds of the forest and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of the colorful landscape. At the Schwarzachenalm, a cozy campfire awaits us. In a charming atmosphere, we take a small break, enjoy the special evening mood, and let the day come to a close together. As darkness falls, we set off on our return journey with torches. Boogie Nacht Laufen – the bluesy side of Boogie Woogie.

For more than 15 years, pianist Christian Christl has been inviting the best musicians from blues and boogie woogie to the small arts stage in Laufen. This time he presents the "Blues Masters" Georg Schroeter, piano, and Marc Breitfelder, harp, from Kiel. The two are an unbeatable duo, have been a fixed part of the European blues scene for many years, and play almost 100 concerts a year.

That the two are something special was also confirmed at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tennessee. There, they were awarded as the best acoustic blues duo. This was followed by an extensive tour in the USA and many international festival performances.

Christian Christl will also get involved in the musical proceedings. He will take over the "Boogie Woogie Piano" part today. It will be a very relaxed evening with impressive musical experiences.

Reinhold Messner: Nanga Parbat - My Mountain of Destiny

In hardly any other mountain does fame and tragedy lie so close together as with the 8,125 m high Nanga Parbat. Reinhold Messner unites both like no one else.
Accompanied by never-before-seen images and films, Messner in his live lecture spans the arc from all the climbers who have made history on Nanga Parbat to his own moving and thrilling story.
He reports on Albert Mummery, the best mountaineer of his time, who disappeared in 1895 while transitioning from the Diamir to the Rakhiot side, on the unforgettable Willo Welzenbach, known as the "Ice Pope", who died in a snowstorm in 1934 with eight men – ultimately marginalized; on Hermann Buhl, who in 1953, against the order of the expedition leader, reached the summit alone and as the first – a stellar moment in mountaineering! How well 50 years later, when Steve House masters the Rupal Face directly in a two-person rope team. Finally, he tells of his own fateful expedition in 1970, during which his brother Günther tragically lost his life. Eight years later, he achieved the pinnacle of his life with the first solo ascent of an eight-thousander on the Diamir Wall. After hell, he thereby touched heaven on his personal mountain of destiny.

In autumn, nature slowly retreats and gathers its strength underground. Along the edges of paths, on meadows, and in the forest, special treasures are now hidden: roots and plants that often seem unremarkable but tell a long history.

Together with herbal educator Sylvia Scheiblegger, we head out into the autumnal nature. During this, various plants are safely identified and their roots examined more closely. Sylvia Scheiblegger shows how these were traditionally used in the kitchen or for well-being, and provides insights into ancient plant knowledge.

The hike also leads back to a time when people were closely connected with the rhythm of nature. Old customs, legends, and myths surrounding roots, herbs, and the mysterious power of the earth bring this connection back to life. A joint exploration of autumnal nature – and an invitation to sharpen the perception of the invisible under our feet.

This band has history. Founded in the 1980s, it was then a cheeky showcase of the movement for a cultural center of the alternative scene in Salzburg. While punk was the defining element back then, this band has matured over the years, after a longer creative pause, and its musical spectrum has significantly expanded. However, one thing that has remained is that they rock until they drop. Sweaty concerts with a strong groove factor are guaranteed. What makes the band special are, not least, the profound lyrics of the psychodoc Alfred Aichinger, which increasingly deal with the diverse possibilities and abysses of the human psyche.

Text-related psychorock, musically a conglomerate of indie rock, funk, and punk along with ingredients that are connected to the expanded spectrum of rock.
And who are the musicians driving this band forward?
At the vocals and guitar, the band founder and mastermind Fredl Aichinger stands out, whose lyrics are an output of life focusing on the psychological confusions and turmoil within us all.
On the solo and rhythm guitar, Fritz Huber provides a noble sound framework and crazy, lofty solos, very much in the spirit of rock. Manfred Hoy mostly plays the deep notes as the bassist but always adds a brighter, sometimes funky touch to the whole. After the death of the band's second cornerstone, Paul Donner, another cornerstone of the Salzburg scene, Peter Willert (Ginga Rale), now hits the drums and provides the necessary drive.

Last but not least, the lucky bag, the changing guests:
Here in Laufen, it's quite certain that Herb Helmstreit on the violin and Erwin Hörl on the saxophone and clarinet will embellish many songs and give them a very special touch.
It goes without saying that here, with very few exceptions, only original songs developed in hours-long sessions will be performed, and they only keep getting better, a development without end.

For three decades, the Couplet-AG has uniquely shaped the cabaret scene in Bavaria and far beyond. Now they are celebrating their outstanding and more than noteworthy satire anniversary. Naturally, this will be crowned with a top-class anniversary program. Not only classics and highlights but also the newest numbers - for the first time united in one program. Of course, also included: the brand new, highly topical scenes and songs of the Couplet-AG from the BR-Brettl-Spitzen!!!

A true satire festival for all fans and a comprehensive onslaught from the Couplet-AG, which puts pretty much everything through the satirical shredder in their songs and sketches. They have dusted off the traditional song form of the couplet and breathed new life into the legacy of Munich's folk singers. For 30 years, the Couplet-AG has been not only a cult component of the southern German cabaret scene but also counts among the most successful music and political cabaret groups in the country. As masters of satire, they are celebrated by critics and boast more than 5000 performances at all renowned small art and cabaret stages in southern Germany and Austria. This is complemented by numerous appearances in TV and radio shows (including Schlachthof, Spaß aus Mainz, Freunde in der Mäulesmühle, BR-RadioSpitzen, and especially in their own show “Brettl-Spitzen” on BR television).

Awarded among others the “Bavarian Cabaret Prize, the Bavarian Dialect Prize, and the “Bavarian Poetentaler," the Couplet-AG presents their anniversary program from three decades of stage work for the first time and exclusively! They are also the oldest, non-"related and not in-laws" music cabaret ensemble in Bavaria!!

The founder, frontman, and author of the Couplet-AG, Jürgen Kirner, is also a member of the presidium of the Münchner Turmschreiber and a creative mind and initiator of the BR-Brettl-Spitzen as well as the Munich Fountain Festival at Viktualienmarkt. In his texts and couplets, he illuminates the subversive core of the Bavarian folk soul and uniquely accompanies the lives of political protagonists. So far, eleven CDs and three DVDs have been released. In addition to numerous regular radio and television appearances, there are large tours and concerts. With the Couplet-AG, he has not only managed to pick up the once-dead tradition of folk singers and help the couplet song form achieve a renaissance, but also successfully to occupy this musical-cultural niche with complete independence. Satirically biting texts and Couplet-AG classics like "Geh peitsch mi", “Oh CSU, von der wir alles haben,” and "A Glaserl Eigenurin" are now not only immortalized in numerous publications and the own songbook, but are performed publicly by countless enthusiastic fans. Along with continually new, current ideas and texts, these couplets and scenes form an ideal means of transport for biting satire and witty remarks - linking back to the great tradition of Munich's folk singers.

Andreas Langsch is a singer, pianist, musical theatre performer, singer-songwriter and cabaret artist all in one. You can feel this creative diversity in every minute of his performance. With his new show „Zu schön, um falsch zu sein“, he gives piano cabaret a fresh, playful and yet profound touch.
„Zu schön, um falsch zu sein“ – that’s a cocktail by the sea with the sun on your face. That’s you when the mirror smiles at you and even your wrinkles wink at you kindly. It’s the sparkle in your child’s eyes when they say “Papa” for the first time. It’s the note with a little love message from your partner, hidden in your lunchbox for you. And it’s all those little moments of happiness in everyday life that make your heart leap: the long-awaited parcel that finally arrives and that you rip open with excitement, or your favourite song on the radio playing just as you start your car. Brief moments that remind us that sometimes life is simply too beautiful to be wrong.
With plenty of charm, humour and musical storytelling, Andreas Langsch sings about life and takes us on a journey through the big and small questions of our time: Just how liberating is financial freedom? Why does the world so often sound worse than it really is? And how does our perspective on life change when you suddenly become a father?

The high-profile ensemble of Queen Alive celebrates the world hits of their musical idols Brian May, Roger Taylor, John Deacon, and Freddie Mercury († 1991) – known as Queen – in a gripping, impressive, and of course live manner!

FOREVER QUEEN brings the explosive power of the legendary Queen hits back to the stage in a spectacular production! In the 70s and 80s, Queen revolutionized the world of rock music with their lavish shows. Today, “Queen Alive” continues this spectacular legacy with a perfection that is second to none. The successful show, produced by Reset Production, conveys the electrifying atmosphere of one of the most innovative, creative, and brilliant bands in music history – with breathtakingly authentic live performances.

The audience can expect a top-class rock concert – from the stirring anthems “We Will Rock You” and “We Are the Champions” to heart-wrenching ballads like “Who Wants To Live Forever” and “Love of My Life”, to the masterful “Radio Ga Ga” and the operatic “Bohemian Rhapsody”. The legendary band Queen, founded in 1970 in London, is an icon of rock music. With Freddie Mercury's unmistakable voice, Brian May's virtuosic guitar playing, Roger Taylor's dynamic drumming, and John Deacon's powerful bass, Queen revolutionized the music world. Especially the live performances, foremost the concert at Live Aid 1985, are legendary and showcase their perfect stage presence and explosive energy. Although the loss of Freddie Mercury in 1991 was painful, Queen's legacy remains strong and shows that they are one of the most influential and unforgettable bands of all time.

Giuseppe Ravazzolo, the band leader of Queen Alive, pays tribute to the unforgettable Mercury as one of the most renowned Freddie Mercury impersonators in Europe with an energetic performance and extraordinary voice – a subtle yet impressive homage. Tiziano Giampieri masterfully translates the power chords and solos on guitar. Fabrizio Palermo provides the powerful and Queen-typical sound on bass. Responsible for the pulsating rhythm is Simone Fortuna on drums at FOREVER QUEEN.
