The Crime Dinner 'The Polterabend Killer' – is a delicious course menu in a stylish setting framed by an exciting criminal case, which will take place at the Maritim Seehotel in Timmendorfer Strand.

Madlen and Dennis' polterabend is set to be an unforgettable highlight. With friends, relatives, and colleagues, the young couple wants to celebrate their upcoming marriage.

However, in the midst of the celebration, a terrible incident occurs. A rather important guest has been murdered. Luckily, the bride's father, Hans-Peter Windisch, is a police sergeant and hobby hunter.

Together with his friend, Detective Inspector Schimpanski, he aims to apprehend the culprit to save his daughter's polterabend.

Embark on the investigation with a lot of humor. Will the two investigators manage to solve the case?

Yes, you read that right, the famous master detective Sherlock Holmes and myself, Dr. Watson, have found ourselves in the Swabian countryside. Admittedly, not entirely voluntarily. However, our genius could not decline the invitation of an old acquaintance, the Baroness of Zuckerberg, to a gala dinner once again. So here we are dining at this very moment in the adjacent room of the restaurant, where you will enjoy a delicious 3-course menu this evening.

Fleeing from his table neighbor, the endlessly chatty Swabian Baroness, the detective narrowly misses the alleged murder of the hostess's husband, Baron von Zuckerberg.

Sure, his health wasn't the best. But to suddenly fall face first into the Maultäschles soup is not exactly the elegant English way to die, even in Swabia. For Sherlock Holmes, however, the evening that was deadly boring up until then is saved.

A local dialect crime is on the horizon, an extremely tricky case indeed, as the investigation results seemingly rule out any influence of poison. Questioning the witnesses, the forensic pathologist, and some of the dinner guests makes some innocent lambs in the room appear suspicious.
Eager and in high spirits, the famous detective engages his little grey cells. "Swabian shrewdness" quickly takes hold, but no false house builder can lead the master astray so easily. The solution to the case is clear to him in no time, as always, however, he leaves us in the dark for a while longer before the murderer is masterfully apprehended.

Perhaps you too will soon have the solution at hand, because on this evening you also have a say in the matter.

There, during the Kiel Week, the annual selection list with reading tips on a specified theme is presented. »The reading rats« are children and teenagers aged 8 to 14 years who meet once a month at the literature house to read and discuss new publications and to compile the »Reading Tips« that are available as a brochure in all Kiel libraries and many bookstores.
