Lisa Fitz - Avanti Dilettanti! - "Tina Turner der bayerischen Satire"
The "Tina Turner of Bavarian Satire" sings, parodies, dishes out, and captivates!
Everywhere you encounter them: the dimwits who drive you to despair and quiet rage.
There are the dimwitted ones on hotlines, the gossips in doctors' offices, the blockheads in authorities, and last but not least politicians who spew (and do) so much absurd nonsense that you have to stop shaking your head to avoid damaging your brain. Unqualified information, mental immaturity, grumpy individuals, dumb nerve- and time-wasters, ignoramuses, arrogant people, smugglers… "The main reason for stress is daily dealings with idiots," said Albert Einstein. And stress has nowadays become a common ailment… But it could really be different, right?!
Certainly. But for that, one would have to open their eyes. Their own and those of others. And when one then sees the dimwitted dilettante within themselves in the mirror, the time comes for true greatness with the realization: “I know that I know nothing.”
But one thing is certain: AVANTI DILETTANTI! (translated: "Let's go Amateurs" or something similar)
The press writes:
"What makes the great pleasure of watching and listening to Lisa Fitz's performance is: first, her masterful art of sharpening messages while remaining absolutely clean in dialect; second, the time-saving directness and laconicism of her thoughts; third, her ability to analyze sharply and serve the result as carpaccio – raw but tasty; and fourth, her unbridled energy from the first to the last minute. She is so far ahead of those she takes on that one can rightly call her the 'Tina Turner of Bavarian Satire.' Because singing, as she proves that evening, she does as well and as compellingly as ever. Stormy applause with thoughtful embrace is worth it to her." (Süddeutsche Zeitung)
About Lisa Fitz
Lisa Fitz comes from the Bavarian artist dynasty Fitz, which also includes Florian David, Michael, Veronika, and her son Nepo Fitz. They have all made a name for themselves in the fields of acting and music.
Lisa Fitz has been on stage since the age of 10, studied music, ballet, acting, and classical guitar before presenting her first solo programs at the Munich "Lach- und Schießgesellschaft" after many performances.
She became known to the general public through appearances in television shows, TV movies, and cabaret programs. Since 1981, she has been significantly involved in the development of German cabaret, presenting solo programs with her own texts as the first woman in Germany. Numerous engagements followed – as an actress on stage and in films. However, her true calling has always been and remains cabaret.
In over 40 years of cabaret with more than 4500 solo guest performances, her shows have been seen by over 2 million enthusiastic spectators and boast a large fan base in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
For her unique contributions to culture, she has been awarded, among others, the Bavarian Cabaret Prize, the German Small Arts Prize, and the Bavarian Order of Merit.
Lisa Fitz has sustainably influenced and supported the women's movement in Germany. One of her strengths has always been humor. She uncovers inequalities in the socio-social status of men and women with wit and irony – biting, yet without bitterness or frustration.
Lisa Fitz is known as a free spirit for her liberal mindset, i.e., writing non-partisan and non-denominational satire while still taking a political stance.
