The name sounds bombastic, and in fact, COLOSSEUM is somewhat like a dinosaur in the history of rock music: a gathering of extraordinarily virtuosic soloists, while still maintaining a closed, compact sound and always being very innovative musically in various configurations. The double album "Colosseum Live" can certainly still be confidently referred to as a gem in the history of rock music. In 2026, the "Colossus" will once again come to life, much to the delight of numerous fans. Under the motto “Out Into The Fields,” the originals Chris Farlowe, Clem Clempson & Mark Clarke will present alongside Colosseum classics like “Lost Angeles” & the “Valentyne Suite” also songs from the new studio album “XI” (Repertoire Records).
