Two Virtuosos – One Stage
Ulugbek Palvanov – Piano
Internationally awarded pianist, renowned for poetic depth, emotional expressiveness, and exceptional virtuosity. Prizewinner of prestigious competitions such as Ferruccio Busoni, Arthur Rubinstein Competition (Tel Aviv), and Steinway Competition Berlin. Concert activities as a soloist with orchestras and at festivals in Europe, the USA, and Japan. Since 2014, artistic director of the concert series Pianowerke in Germany.
Andrey Lakisov – Saxophone
Saxophonist with an international career, prizewinner of numerous competitions, winner of the Yamaha Competition, and scholarship holder of the Yehudi Menuhin Foundation – Live Music Now. Performances on significant stages across Europe, collaborations including with the Komische Oper Berlin and the Kammerakademie Potsdam. Since 2016, founder and artistic director of the concert series Ungezähmte Klassik.
Repertoire – a selection of world-famous works:
Works by J.S. Bach, Frédéric Chopin, Claude Debussy, Sergei Rachmaninoff, George Gershwin, Frank Sinatra, Louis Armstrong, Morricone, The Beatles, Philip Glass, Scorpions, Leonard Cohen, Sting, Coldplay, Michael Jackson, among others. The program combines classical masterpieces, jazz, film music, and pop classics in a distinctive chamber music interpretation.
