• Was ist das letzte Geheimnis des Fasses, das der Erbauer mit ins Grab genommen hat?
All diese Fragen werden beantwortet – und am Ende gehören Sie zu den Eingeweihten des berühmten Dürkheimer Riesenfasses und stoßen darauf an – mit einem Glas Sekt oder einem alkoholfreien Getränk.

*Der normale Restaurantbetrieb findet zu einem großen Teil in der „Bütt“ statt, dem angebauten Teil des Fasses. In den oberen, repräsentativen, eigentlichen Bereich des Fasses gelangt man nur als Gast eines größeren Banketts oder als Teilnehmer dieser Fassführung.

During this tour of the largest barrel in the world, you will learn about the history and anecdotes surrounding this unique building and get to the places that the fewest people reach*: The inner, spectacular part of the barrel, where the walls are round and you truly feel like you are inside a gigantic barrel.

• Where did all the wood come from?
• How did the wine get in and out?
• What is the last secret of the barrel that the builder took to the grave?
All these questions will be answered – and in the end, you will be one of the initiates of the famous Dürkheimer Giant Barrel and toast to it – with a glass of sparkling wine or a non-alcoholic drink.

*The normal restaurant operation takes place largely in the “Bütt,” the annexed part of the barrel. The upper, representative, actual area of the barrel can only be accessed as a guest of a larger banquet or as a participant in this barrel tour.
