Ralf Senkel - „Der hat gesessen!“
A character, observed, sitting and telling a story. An everyday philosopher. Sometimes laugh-out-loud funny, sometimes so spot-on in his observations that you feel like you are in a cabaret.
Ralf Senkel wanders between the boundaries of comedy and cabaret and although he always sits on every stage, he does not permanently occupy any genre. It is up to the audience to recognize this balancing act. Linguistically and in spirit equipped with a large portion of Rhineland charm, he travels with you into his little world.
In his village, he is as well-known as a colorful dog, not only because of his incomparably fashionable jacket that he really always wears. Nevertheless – he claims he has no "metabolic problems," even though that is exactly what people say about him.
Ralf's so-called "professional inactivity" gives him time to observe. Therefore, his stories come straight from everyday life, sometimes quirky, sometimes serious, always sharply captured, and very importantly: incredibly funny. Inadvertently funny? "No, I do this voluntarily!"
Ralf Senkel is, among other things, the winner of the Tegtmeiers Erben Audience Award 2023, the Datteln and the Kremenholler Small Arts Prize. In addition, he is a regular guest at the Mitternachtsspitzen on WDR television and a guest in the shows of the Quatsch Comedy Club.
Experience the not-so-secret insider tip of the comedy and cabaret scene in his first solo program - “Der hat gesessen!” Ralf Senkel comes, sits, and tells... and afterwards, you will say: “Der hat gesessen!” - promised.
