Game of Dragons
Magical wingbeats in a spectacular open-air exhibition
Until January 11, the gates of a breathtaking dragon light park open at "Lucky Star" in Munich Milbertshofen - currently the most spectacular family fantasy experience as part of an open, vibrant city. In the immersive outdoor exhibition "Game of Dragons," majestic creatures awaken with powerful wingbeats and invite visitors to participate, experience, and encounter together.
More than 30 life-size, animatronic dragons penetrate the darkness in the park, which covers more than 8000 square meters between three castles, roaring, snorting, smoking, and transporting Munich residents into fantastic mystical worlds after great successes in castles and gardens. The well over one-kilometer-long walk on the "blue star" reveals fantastic insights from above. Numerous photo points and the dragon sofa provide a great backdrop for memorable pictures. At the dragon quiz, you can be "knighted" as a knight or a lady knight. Mulled wine, punch, sausages, and hearty snacks warm you from the inside.
The magical creatures are more than an illusion. "Game of Dragons" combines the latest technology and a colorful light show with fantasy legends. Some guard the sky and the stars, others protect the earth and the people, and some can even read minds or unleash storms. But they all have one thing in common: they remain alive forever as long as just one child believes in them.
Dracorien, the oldest of the dragons, is revered as the guardian of wisdom. To strengthen his powers, he can draw energy from the elements, the stars, or magical springs. He was also the one who guided the dragons on their journey through time to "Lucky Star." Here they have settled to rest before embarking on new adventures.
LUCKY STAR @ DAS ANDERS Quartier - the new social playground in northern Munich is more than a temporary use. It's a place where the city is rethought, experienced, and shared. On the grounds of the future urban district "Das Anders," a temporary space for movement, encounter, and participation has been created since the beginning of the year.
