Oesch´s - Die Dritten - Handmade Tour 2026
Handmade Tour 2026
It's that time again! After the extremely successful tour kickoff last year, Oesch's die Dritten, who are already superstars of folk music in Switzerland, are coming back to Germany. They will present their most famous songs and, of course, songs from their current album "Handmade". Oesch's die Dritten stand for one thing above all else: Folk music is heart music!
One of the secrets of the family from the Swiss Berner Oberland is the cross-generational composition of the formation: The siblings Melanie, Mike, and Kevin Oesch perform on stage together with their parents Hansueli and Annemarie Oesch, making folk music as if it were the most natural thing in the world. They are complemented by accordionist Urs Meier.
The family tradition began with the "Trio Oesch" founded by Hans Oesch. His son Hansueli continued it with his wife Annemarie and their three children. And because they are now musical for the third generation, they named themselves Oesch's die Dritten.
The success story began in the already 90s. Oesch's die Dritten had their breakthrough in 2007 by winning the newcomer competition of Musikantenstadl. Their CD from that year "Jodel-Zauber" remained in the Swiss charts for months and achieved double platinum. Since then, the now 27-year-long success story of Oesch's has been unstoppable, with over 2000 concerts and performances in 15 nations, a total of 16 released albums, 7 of which have been awarded gold, 2 platinum, and one even double platinum. Not to forget the PRIX WALO, with which the group has been honored four times.
Melanie Oesch, who is considered the best yodeler in the world, captivates with her unique yodeling style and an impressive stage presence as the front singer. She has already impressed Helene Fischer with this talent, who invited her to reinterpret her biggest hit "Atemlos" together in her TV show.
Annemarie, who is not only the second singer but also plays the piano, and Hansueli, master of the "Schwyzerörgeli", form the musical foundation. The sons Mike Oesch on bass and Kevin Oesch on guitar create the perfect rhythm section. They are supported by Urs Meier, a perfectionist on the accordion, who, as a trained accordion maker, has a unique approach to playing. Oesch's die Dritten stand for joy of life, family cohesion, and respect. Their music combines tradition with modernity, and they do not shy away from weaving in elements of country, blues, and pop. Whether in dialect, German, French, English, or Spanish, Oesch's die Dritten love to be versatile and contrasting. With their motto "Oesch music is heart music, and heart music knows no borders," they bring emotions and enthusiasm to the stage, an experience that no audience can resist.
