The AWESOME SCAMPIS deliver enjoyable ska and pop-punk with brass instruments and German lyrics. Earworm guarantee included! With this, the eight likable musicians from the Ruhr area have been putting a big grin on the faces of the audience at every concert since the band's founding in 2005. The audience and the press agree: The entertaining shows with a powerful brass sound – consisting of trumpet, trombone, and saxophone – are celebrated hard and promise a wonderful mix of a colorful party both on and in front of the stage. This band is just a blast!
Comparisons with bands like Sondaschule, Rantanplan, or Farin Urlaub are very close.
With incredible energy and good vibes, the AWESOME SCAMPIS address everyday topics in their lyrics, including love and friendships – but serious themes such as depression or current political situations also find their way in. Since their founding in 2005, the band has completed countless live shows both domestically and internationally. Steelcats
The well-known rockabilly band from the Bavarian Oberland was born out of pure joy in rockabilly and the associated lifestyle. Well-known and beloved rockabilly classics from the last four decades as well as original songs take the audience on a journey immediately!

Best Cellar R@z
The Weilheim cover band Best Cellar R@z stands for handmade rock music. That is their passion! The repertoire ranges from sweat-inducing hits to rocking melodic ballads. From the musical treasure chest of Deep Purple, Cream, Stones, … to ZZ Top.

The Ultimate Silverbeet

DAKKA SKANKS

Meeting at music college in Brighton, this young band have pulled together so
many influences, to take a classic ska rhythm into the 21st century. They blend
established Jamaican dance rhythms, sprinkled with indie rock guitar and
catchy choruses that give this band a truly fresh and new sound. Clara Byrne's
mesmerizing lead vocal cuts through like a wave of emotion, her lyrical content
straight from the soul, with serious social issues explored through dramatic
delivery.
Formed in 2017, this band have come on leagues in a very short space of time.
Involved in The Camden Roundhouse Emerging Artists programme, Spider
Johnson (Potato 5, Lee Perry, Acid Jazz, Kioko) produced the first album really
pulling the loose ends together, giving a professional edge of experience to the
band.
Dakka Skanks are already picking up several live shows from promoters across
Europe, the first Spanish mini-tour of the Madrid area generated more offers
including several shows across Germany, France, Belgium and Spain. 2018
brought shows with Madness, Neville Staple, The Skatalites, headline slots
across the country and dates across Europe. 2019 brought more extensive
European touring, a show with the mighty Toasters and lots more as the year
moved forward, and 2020 would have seen Dakka Skanks playing at many more
festivals and events in the UK and beyond - Except for that pandemic…….., but
undeterred Dakka have carried on releasing the tracks ‘Mr Murder’, ‘Sir Action’
and the current ska anthem in the making ‘Babylon Falling’.
After the first lockdown lifted Dakka Skanks had a very busy 2021 starting with
headlining the first live event in Brighton and The Dome and into festival
season with appearances at Illusive Festival, Tearout Festival, Victorious
Festival, Leeds Ska Festival and at Lakefest where they were so well received on
the Friday that they were asked to cover a main stage slot the next day sharing
the stage with Stereo MC’s, New Model Army and Scouting For Girls, and they
finished the year on the main stage at House of Fun with Madness in Minehead.
2022 was another busy year with a European tour supporting Buster Shuffle in
June and support slots with The Selecter, Popes of Chillitown and The Dub
Pistols as well as a busy festival season culminating at Boomtown. On the
release front, the In Control EP was released in December to round off the year.

For over four decades, LustfingeR has stood for honest, infectious Punk’n’Roll from Munich. The cult band around founder Tom Fock has experienced a lot since its inception in the early 1980s: tours across Europe, concerts in the USA and Japan, and numerous packed clubs and halls. With their German-language songs, which are simultaneously humorous, uncomfortable, and direct, LustfingeR has gained a loyal fan base far beyond Germany. They have shared the stage with scene greats such as the Toy Dolls, The Pogues, The Exploited, or the legendary Ramones.
Their recipe for success: sing-along anthems with catchy hooks, a healthy dose of self-irony, and an energetic live show that captivates any audience right away. Their music's cult status is evident in the song "Löwenmut," which has been the club anthem of TSV 1860 Munich since 1990 and is celebrated loudly at every home game at Grünwalder Stadion.
With their current album "LustfingeR," the five Munich musicians once again prove their knack for top-notch songs with bite and humor.

Skassapunka

Skassapunka was founded in late 2008 in Lainate near Milan. The band quickly became known for its strong antifascist and antiracist statements. In 2013, they released their first album "Di Vento in Vento". In 2014, they signed with the independent label Kob Records. In 2015, the second album "Il Gioco del Silenzio" was created with the participation of Enrico from Los Fastidios and Dema from Talco, followed by their first European tour. In 2016, the single "We Want to Dance to Ska" and another tour followed. In 2017, the single "Bella Ciao" and the third album "Rudes Against" were released, and during a renewed European tour, Skassapunka played with bands such as Bad Manners, The Prosecution, and The Flatliners. In 2018, the band celebrated its ten-year anniversary with the new EP "Adelante" and the accompanying "Adelante Tour". In the same year, they played with some of the most significant figures in the Italian and international Ska and Punk scene, including The Locos, The Real McKenzies, The Bombpops, Los Fastidios, and The Sewer Rats. In May 2019, the next tour began, named after the single "Paradox". In November 2020, the new album "Revolutionary Roots" was released by Maldito Records, followed in July 2021 by the single "United We Stand" and in March 2022 by another single, the Ska-Punk cover of the well-known Irish song "Foggy Dew". In the latter release, the Italian Combat-Folk band Modena City Ramblers was featured as a guest. In December of the same year, Skassapunka released "Dopolavoro", a Two-Tone Ska song from the latest album “Al di là del Vostro Cielo”, which came out on June 23, 2023.

It was 1988 when a few crazy dudes met in a rundown basement in Oslo to form a band. Originally, it was supposed to be named Nazipenis, then they agreed on Bullfighting. However, that didn't go over well in Norway, so after just one single, they renamed themselves to – ta-da: TURBONEGRO. When asked what the name meant, Happy Tom once replied: “The full name of our band is TURBONEGRO, but we are gutless wimps, so we spell it TRBNGR. A Turbonegro is a large well-equipped, armed black male, in a fast car, out for vengeance. We are his prophets.”

And thus was born one of the best European rock bands ever, set on kicking the world’s ass with a unique mix of punk, glam, boogie, hard rock, and bisexual energy. Twice dissolved, twice resurrected.

Many years ago, during TURBONEGRO's first hiatus, six guys came together for the 20th band anniversary, who believed that the work of Hank von Helvete & Co. had to live on live: ASSES OF FIRE – a bunch of misfits who had previously been involved with Robert & The Roboters, Free Little Pigs, Slow Death, or Wet 69. Since then, there have been AOF shows on selected occasions that also reach the hearts of hardened TRBNGR fans.

50 years of UK punk rock, and Charlie Harper, the godfather of the punk scene, is touring fresh as ever at the proud age of 82 with his UK Subs! The band founded by Charlie in London in 1976 has never actually disbanded. At the end of November, the best opportunity arises to get up close and experience the heat and excitement from the long list of live hits delivered by his bandmates Alvin Gibbs, a bass legend himself, Stephen Straughan on guitar, and drumming wizard Stefan Häublein. This highlight of original punk rock should not be missed! May the godfather of punk rock live long!

Speicher Rettungsboot präsentiert: Chefdenker; Angora Club; Commander Nilpfred

Chefdenker celebrates their 22nd birthday in 2025.
For the anniversary, the seventh concept album "Ein Kühlschrank voller Ideen" is released. 19 songs in 31 minutes, that's an average of 1.631578947368421 minutes per song. Sounds like a lot at first, but when rounded down, it’s only 1.6 minutes per song. As always, things are erratic: Right at the beginning and at the very end, Chefdenker pays homage to the Beach Boys without filling this arbitrarily set framework with surf content. The song “Schweine im Weltall” surprisingly isn’t about Elon Musk, but answers the question of whether art has to be political at all costs with genuine FUN-punk. “Schnubbi” is a beautiful yet sad song. Other people also have problems, as “the difficult childhood of artificial intelligence” shows. “Impfen und Würstchen” finally heralds an appropriate processing of the Corona years. “Was soll bloss aus dir werden” is a parenting guide song without a fact check. “Lass die Sau raus” sheds light on the ridiculous cultural warfare technique of intentional misunderstanding. Musically, there are always wellness passages in between, a bit of Bossanova or here and there stadium rock. Sepp Herberger would say: The LP is round and the playing time lasts 31 minutes.

Commander Nilpfred has – despite his cheerful demeanor – a derogatory opinion about everything and everyone. If you always know better, have somehow changed, are inappropriately dressed, make trivial music with a made-up claim, Nilpfred has probably already got you in his sights. You’re allowed to say that! Right?
With Commander Nilpfred, everyone gets their comeuppance: singer-songwriters, Instagrammers, Reichsbürger, unsolicited experts, and the whole damn system anyway. One moment you nod and feel validated, the next you’re annoyed because you feel caught. Cry punk!
The Commander consists of four hip-strong superstars. Also, we are always in a good mood, but not able to coherently explain “what the hell the name means.” The music can best be described as power pop punk rock (if that means more punk pop than pop punk) - for music fans for whom Die Ärzte and Die Toten Hosen are punk rock enough; for people who nonetheless despise Revolverheld music. Call it “pop songs that someone (that is us) has thrown dirt on.”

Skanighter - Dr Ring Ding / The Upsessions

The scene of Two-Tone enthusiastic ska fans is vibrant and always ready for great concerts and legendary Skanighters, even in East Westphalia.
That's why there is finally another concert evening at FZZ Baumheide in Bielefeld with two live bands and a soundsystem for the aftershow party.

DR RING DING (D)
has been active worldwide as a versatile singer and instrumentalist since 1987 and can rightly be considered one of the main driving forces of reggae in Germany. As an entertainer in the truest sense of the word, he is stylistically at home in the entire range of Jamaican music.
His tireless touring worldwide made him a fixed and indispensable part of the international reggae, dancehall, and ska scene.
Traditional old school grooves, current computerized beats, or even pop songs – the German veteran of Jamaican music showcases his talent both in his recordings and live on stage. At his shows, Dr. Ring Ding is either accompanied by renowned backing bands or, quite traditionally, by a soundsystem. Either way: good mood and positive vibes are guaranteed, as the doctor knows how to entertain diverse audiences.

THE UPSESSIONS (NL)
After the release of their first album "The New Heavyweight Champion" (2006) on the legendary label "Moon Ska," the Upsessions' career took off immediately.
Stylishly dressed, captivating, with an incredible organ sound and a fantastic stage performance,
the band, in their green-yellow tracksuits, plays at Europe’s largest reggae and ska festivals such as the German "This is Ska," the Potsdam Ska Festival, and the "Rudecat" festival in Girona in the Basque Country.
Since the release of their legendary album "Shake it!" with Lee "Scratch" Perry, the Upsessions' songs have been featured in movies and series, primarily in the USA.
Since 2005, The Upsessions have been touring all over Europe, showcasing their early reggae, ska, funk, calypso, and soul sound.

STEVE 'N' SEAGULLS - THE DARK SIDE OF THE MOO PART II

Es hätte ein kalter Wintertag oder eine warme Sommernacht in Finnland sein können – irgendwann um das Jahr 2010. Jemand hatte die Idee, Bluegrass, finnische Folkmusik und Rock/Metal zu kombinieren. Das Ergebnis war und ist seitdem **Steve ’n’ Seagulls** – die Band, von der du nicht wusstest, dass du sie vermisst hast, von der du aber weißt, dass du sie unbedingt wieder hören willst. Aus Finnland im Norden Europas stammend, ist diese gut gelaunte Truppe heute schneller und kraftvoller unterwegs als je zuvor.
Kurz gesagt: 2014 drehte die Band drei Live-Musikvideos auf ihrem Bauernhof. Das zweite davon – ihre frische Interpretation des AC/DC-Klassikers „Thunderstruck“ – ging viral und eroberte das Internet im Sturm. Plötzlich tourte dieser Möwenschwarm um die ganze Welt, nahm ein Album auf und spielte mehr Shows als je zuvor.
Seit 2014 haben Steve ’n’ Seagulls vier Studioalben veröffentlicht. Ihr Debütalbum *Farm Machine* (2015) brachte die Band für 170 Konzerte durch Europa und Nordamerika auf Tour. Dabei begeisterten sie ihr Publikum – von kleinen Clubs bis hin zu einigen der größten Festivals Europas – und sorgten überall für gute Laune.
Im Jahr 2025 erblickt schließlich das lang erwartete fünfte Album von Steve ’n’ Seagulls das Licht der Welt: *The Dark Side of the Moo!*
Gemeinsam mit dem gleichen Team wie beim Vorgänger aufgenommen und produziert, sprengen Steve ’n’ Seagulls erneut die Grenzen von Progressive Bluegrass und Newgrass. Das Album vereint Elemente aus Genres, die auf den ersten Blick kaum zusammenpassen – und doch begegnen sie sich wie alte Freunde und gehen eine erstaunlich harmonische Verbindung ein. Eigenkompositionen der Band und neu interpretierte Klassiker ergeben eine weitere spannende musikalische Mischung, die auf der *The Dark Side of the Moo*-Tour 2025 durch Europa serviert wird.
Alle vier bisherigen Alben von Steve ’n’ Seagulls konnten sich in den finnischen Albumcharts sowie in den Billboard-Bluegrass-Charts platzieren. It could've been a cold winter day or warm summer night in Finland - but it was around the year 2010. Someone came up with an idea to combine bluegrass, Finnish folk and rock/metal music. To put it short: in 2014 the band filmed three live music videos back at the farm. The second one, their new and fresh take on AC/DC classic Thunderstruck took the internet by storm. Suddenly this flock of seagulls found themselves touring around the world, recording an album and touring harder than ever.
Since 2014 Steve'n'Seagulls have recorded four studio albums. The debut album Farm Machine (2015) took the band on the road for 170 shows in Europe and North America.

So far, all four Steve 'n' Seagulls albums have hit the album charts in Finland and the Billboard bluegrass chart. Their music videos have gathered close to 346 million views on YouTube alone. They have played on some of the biggest festivals on this earth - including Wacken Open Air, Rescontres Trans Musicales, Nova Rock,
Sweden Rock etc. in over 30 countries and on four continents the audiences from small clubs to big festivals have witnessed their musical adventures and pure good times. And the Seagulls continue on flying!
