Waldbaden
Waldbaden in the Lüneburg Heath – A break for body and soul in Bad Bevensen
Escape everyday life, take a deep breath, and feel the power of nature – Waldbaden is a wonderful way to find peace and recharge your energy. Let the experienced course leader and relaxation educator Hannah Sept guide you into the world of “Shinrin Yoku” and discover how the nature around Bad Bevensen enhances your well-being.
The meeting point for Waldbaden is the Kurhaus Bad Bevensen.
From there, a walk through the spa park leads to the edge of the forest.
Along the way, you will get to know some initial mindfulness exercises. Right by the Ilmenau, a quiet spot invites you to linger. Here, you begin Waldbaden with a gentle breathing meditation – accompanied by the chirping of birds, the soft rustling of leaves, and the soothing murmur of water.
After further exercises to deepen mindfulness and relaxation, a narrow path leads deeper into an idyllic little forest where comfortable hammocks await you. Let yourself fall, enjoy the view of the treetops, and listen to the natural sounds of the forest. Perhaps you will hear the call of the cuckoo or the gentle rustling of the leaves – a moment far away from everyday life that invites you to dream.
Before you return relaxed to the Kurhaus Bad Bevensen, enjoy a cup of warm, self-brewed tea – a soothing conclusion to your two-hour break in the nature of Bad Bevensen.
Note: Please wear weather-appropriate, comfortable clothing for Waldbaden. Depending on the season, we recommend protection against mosquitoes and ticks. The program will be adjusted flexibly to the weather conditions.
Waldbaden takes place from May to October.
