What can we do when hope becomes scarce, certainties fade, society crumbles, and community is called into question? The Social Group seeks answers together with the audience and celebrates the revolutionary power of peaceful communication – music.

The Social Group sees collective singing as a support in our crisis-ridden reality. Where songs are sung, we may indeed sit down, yet bad people also have songs. And in the loudly delivered protest song, there is no room for quiet nuances or doubts. It is not the loudness of many voices, but the collective ability to modulate and change that instills hope. We want to utilize this ability and sing about feelings like fear, powerlessness, and despair, to let them go, to be grounded in the here and now, and to look strengthened towards the future.

"The Social Group" was founded in 2016 by Anne Munka and Jan F. Kurth, and since 2020, Fiona Combosch has joined. David Saam and Res Richter (among others, Kellerkommando and Boxgalopp) will bring songs from various genres: pop, rock, indie, punk, hip-hop… whatever singers' hearts desire! And of course, Eurodance, Schlager, and other fabulous embarrassments! The audience can even have a say in the song selection, throwing their wishes for the next event into a box.

In Bamberg, the pub singing of these musicians has been a hit since 2017: every month, the crowded pub demands one encore after another. At the end, everyone leaves with happy faces, looking forward to the next time.

Feeling like an extraordinary choir experience? Then head over to "Singen für Alle" at the Kulturhaus Schwanen in Waiblingen!

Singing along is encouraged!
Whether you're a singing pro or a complete beginner, whether soprano or bass – everyone who enjoys singing is welcome here! Under the guidance of Patrick Bopp, the "notorious singing balm-maker", we will collectively sing the most beautiful songs from all genres.

Stand or Sit?
At "Singen für Alle", there are mainly standing places so that as many people as possible can participate. For those who cannot stand for long, there are still seating options available.

And the rule is: Everything goes – nothing is a must. The main thing is that you bring a willingness to experiment and try out, joy in the emotion, and a bit of courage.

From Schlager to Rock, from Pop to Folk Song:
We sing what is fun, across all genres. From Schlager to Pop, from Rock to Rap, from Ska to Folk songs – the song selection is a colorful mix and offers something for every taste. No sheet music knowledge is required; the lyrics will simply be projected onto the wall.
