Because Peggy Brinkmann, 37, is neither able to successfully complete her studies nor able to give up unsuccessfully, her parents have turned off the money tap. Since then, she has to share the kitchen and bathroom with Martin, who alternates between playing with his penis or painting his nails – and still is not gay. When her long-term girlfriend breaks up with her, Peggy ends up in the arms of Veronique, who works as a waitress in a dirty bar called Image. The beginning of a rapid chain of events that reaches its climax at the engagement party of Peggy’s sister and Christfluencer Jenny.
Svea Mausolf, known as the Meme Queen to hundreds of thousands of followers on Instagram as @sveamaus, has written a debut novel with "Image" that is second to none. With her characteristic mix of satire, humor, and disgust, she aligns herself with a tradition that can be admired: If John Waters is the "Pope of Trash," then Svea Mausolf is the Pope we have all longed for.
Svea Mausolf is an artist, comedian, and author of various comedy formats such as "Kroymann." She gained fame through her Instagram account @Sveamaus. Her sold-out comedy tour took her through all the major cities in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland in 2023/24. Mausolf grew up in Märkisch-Oderland, dropped out of an art program at the university in Essen, and now lives in Cologne.
