Der Tod - Gevatter Unser
Sense well, all well! This is going to be a blast. There is nothing good, unless you are dead. One way or another ... we will see each other. Death-Comedy-Show: Cloaked in dark robes and with his unmistakably angelic voice, Germany's favorite grim reaper DEATH ironically and with his own dark humor observes the world and its efforts for more.
Death is a bone job. Religions promise rebirth and reincarnation all over the world, modern medicine tirelessly researches eternal life, and now the Grim Reaper's perennial rival, the stork, has laid an egg for Death in front of the grave. Chaos days at the Scythe House.
And so people are getting older, and the world population is growing without ceasing. Not even climate change helps, because the last ride is rarely a cargo bike. And with an oak coffin and crematorium waiting after death, the next environmental sins await. And before the Grim Reaper knows it, the first souls are stuck at the Jordan. But a freshly baked godfather won't let that spoil the corpse, instead, he conjures solutions from his cloak.
In his fourth evening program, the inventor of Death Comedy dedicates himself to the current problems on both sides of life and death. He reads, sings, and improvises with his usual angelic voice, shows his latest cemetery photos, and reports freshly from his experiences when he appears at the workplace with little Totellini.
Gevatter Unser. The new show of Death - unmistakable, pitch-black, and very close to the people.
Cloaked in dark robes and with his unmistakably angelic voice, Germany's favorite grim reaper DEATH ironically and with his own dark humor observes the world and its efforts for more. Together with his intern Exitussi, he has been touring the German-speaking area for many years and has won numerous comedy and cabaret awards during that time. His book "My Life as Death" has been sold over 25,000 times, and in 2021 the photo book "Death in Germany" was published. By now, there are four full-length Death-Comedy shows, a Christmas program, and the online talk show Ghost Hour.
