The forest lives. Perhaps a bit too much, because overnight, numerous cities in Central Europe have suddenly been overgrown with trees. At intersections, in pedestrian zones, even on balconies: trees everywhere. Actually beautiful, but for most people, the sudden reoccupation of urban spaces in Europe by nature is rather annoying. And the forestry office, of course, has no time to rein in the exuberant growth. Most tormented Europeans have no choice but to flee to the Global South, where it's too hot for trees – a 'reverse' migration begins. At least: Good for Bambi, who can leisurely wander through the newly grown fauna, but bad for Caesar and Pliny, who wonder what happened to the Roman roads that were built for eternity.

Siblings Camille and Lucas are tasked with clearing out the attic of their parents' house in Alsace. What if the laws of gravity suddenly changed?
LEO floats against the wall, spins in absurd pirouettes, throws a hat into the air that plops back down on him, as if his body were the gravitational center of the universe. A video projection enables these physical quantum leaps. With the help of a live projection, the audience always sees two stage spaces simultaneously, with the reflection rotated by 90 degrees. This completely undermines natural perception. Is LEO really walking horizontally, or does he only create the impression of doing so with leg movements while actually clinging to the wall?
What makes this show so unique is its simplicity. One man, one hat, one suitcase, one piece of chalk. The sensational aspect lies solely in the way this performance is delivered. Tobias Wegner tells the story of a character in a space where the laws of gravity do not apply, a space that everyone believes they have dreamed of before.
The spectacular one-man show, which has already been presented more than 1,000 times in over 30 countries and even featured for a month on Broadway, is finally going on tour in Germany. The famous Canadian actor and director Daniel Brière directed the evening, which is based on ideas from the versatile performer Tobias Wegner.

LEA - ZMF Freiburg

When talking to LEA about her music, it quickly becomes clear that her creativity stems from a kind of natural serenity. She likes it when things happen naturally, doesn’t enjoy being evaluated, and is not afraid of imperfect records. On the contrary: for LEA, they are exciting historical documents.

In 2016, she released her first, very melancholic album "Vakuum". Her single "Leiser" became a radio anthem and earned her her first gold record. Thanks to this new lightness and the opening of the LEA universe, she has found her very own sound world with "Zwischen meinen Zeilen". She remains true to this sound world with her third album "Treppenhaus".

For LEA, there’s no reason to lean back. “I love output,” she says when discussing that her album FLUSS is the fourth record in five years. “When I write songs, I want to share them as quickly as possible – I’m not keen on waiting for the right moment, which never comes. I’m always in favor of not letting an album sit around, even if not everything is 100% perfect. For me, it’s a snapshot, a recording of personal development. I can let songs go very easily if the essence is right – and music is always changing anyway, always in flow.”

In 2021 and 2022, LEA was the most-streamed artist in Germany. Alone on Spotify, she reached over 272 million streams. The album “Treppenhaus” achieved gold status. This was followed by the sold-out “Treppenhaus” OPEN AIR tour. The subsequent period was characterized by creativity and extraordinary collaborations, as well as the awarding of 10 gold and platinum awards. In the fall of 2022, she played a sold-out indoor tour that thrilled the audience.

His first novel "The Sorrows of Young Werther" made Johann Wolfgang von Goethe a bona fide pop star in 1774: Boys dressed like the suicidal literary model, tea was drunk from Werther collector's cups, and there were allegedly even Werther-inspired suicides. Exceptional actor André Eisermann has been on a reading tour with Goethe's epistolary novel for many years, alongside his composer and pianist Jakob Vinje.

It all started in 1999 in Wetzlar: For the reopening of the Lotte House, the birthplace of Charlotte Buff, to whom Goethe dedicated a literary monument in Werther, actor André Eisermann was asked to read from "The Sorrows of Young Werther."

Together with pianist and composer Jakob Vinje, Eisermann developed a spoken word performance of Goethe's Sturm und Drang masterpiece: Over Vinje's delicate compositions, Eisermann plunges into Werther's words and thoughts and into the unrequited feelings for Lotte. Through Eisermann's interpretation, Goethe's words come alive, and one thing is clear: Love, and the suffering that comes with it, is a timeless affair.

Originally planned as a one-off event, the performance of the multiple award-winning Kaspar Hauser actor became a hit with audiences: Eisermann and Vinje have performed their program more than 800 times in recent years and have released an audio book with BMG Wort.

Goethe Werther Eisermann is an event not only for fans of Goethe, Werther, and Eisermann, but especially for all those who have to (or had to) struggle through Werther in school and have found nothing to appreciate in Goethe and his lovesick suicide so far.
